Need a first name to go with Jocelyn as a middle name.?
i am devastated that i cant use my all time favorite baby name since i was like 5... Fiance's new aunt has the EXACT same name. (Jocelyn Elizabeth) I originally wanted this name because it is a combination of my grandmother's names Carolyn Elizabeth and Joyce Anne. so.. i turn to you.. My Name is Katherine Elyse Fiance is Kale Jacob DD#1 is Natalie Elaine. (last name Starts with a B and ends with an oo sound) to be honest we arent sure if we are having a boy or girl, but if its a boy its Alexander James, hands down. (combo of 3 grampas actually.. ) and i may let go of Jocelyn all together so that we can keep the family tradition of naming girls with an E as their Middle initial or using Anne in the name somewhere.

Lilla mean ‘lilac’ in Italian. It was likely a nickname for the longer Italian name Serenella, which carries the same meaning. In Swedish the word lilla means ‘small’.I find Lilla hard to pronounce. The combination of the short i and the ‘uh’ sound at the end doesn’t flow. The name does flow better with a long i sound but being visually close to the more common name Lilly, it’s likely that people will guess the short i instead of the long i.The name was at it’s peak in the 1880’s but even then never broke the top 100. It dropped below the rank of 1000 by the 1930s.I would avoid middle names that also begin with the ‘uh’ sound. The two names would blend together and be hard to pronounce. Additionally, I would recommend using any name that starts with a vowel carefully. The initials could spell out a word depending on the surname. It’s not necessarily bad, but it could be problematic depending on the word.

What is the best way to spell Jocelyn? I prefer Jocelyn. Do you like the name Alaina Jocelyn Brown? It's very nice. I'd rate it an 8. It's hard for me to give a good opinon on this one, considering I still like Alaina Cassidy and Alaina Mychele also. What type of person do you think of when you see this name? I picture a pretty girl, tan colored skin, brown eyes, dark brown hair, average height--maybe a bit taller, good grades, etc. How popular is this name? I would say this exact combination is probably extremely rare. It's not like Isabella Rose or something that your bound to meet at least another person of the same name sometime in your life.
