Yes , off course you can study and play simultaneously.But only thing I would say is it won't be your best when you do both simultaneously.But yes, it's possible to manage both and do well in both. All you have to do is stop wasting time and use time as efficiently as possible. It's very difficult to manage cricket and studies and do well in both. There might me ups and downs. You have to manage all the pressure and tensions.Because I say you can't be at your best when you do both I don't mean you have to select one. In India , to survive , with all the politics that is happening, you should be safe with a back up plan . So I request you to try do both studies and cricket and decide which one is better as time progresses and try and do that well .If things don't work out in cricket you should be ready for it and continue your life with studies or some other profession.I wish you all the best.

What would you do if a cricket ball hit your balls?

Being a cricketer in the past i can say that the best is to lay flat on the floor with your chest facing the groung.If you can then ask someone to flex your knees while you lay down.Everytime i was hit i used to lay down and it really helped.And yes please do wear a guard. I csn remember my college tournament in which before going on to bat i was reluctant to wear a guard but i just came back from the pitch to wear oneThe first ball i faced was hit on the spot and i literally thanked myself for wearing the guard !

How do I manage my time between cricket and my studies? I want to be a cricketer and also do well in my studies.

First of all I appreciate your passion that is cricket as you mentioned and I felt better knowing this thing that you want to make your career with your passion.I know its not easy to manage the passion plus study while both are completely different. Nevertheless,you have to manage in accordance with your school/college timings , ground practice timings and so on. Recently, a movie was released about MS DHONI’s life which tells us how does manage the teenage life to achieve the goals. I think it's a very good epitome that would be motivated you to have steps in the direction of leading a joyful and successful career along with study.And one more thing I want to discuss here that you can do anything , but not everything (please don't mind it I have no intention to hurt you) that means if you want to be a cricketer,you would have to abandon somewhat it may be your poor cum moderate grades or whatever.Eventually, I hope you will be able to manage yourself. First thing to do - to promote Cricket in countries which do not play it is to make cricket more popular in countries who are associate members of ICC, and shifting them to Full membership via continuous efforts by ICC.These countries could be Kenya, Namibia, Nepal, Canda as of now.Countries which are full members are basically those who officially play test cricket - the highest form of cricket. Full member countries basically have ability to play test cricket, and cricket is considered as ‘established’ (established - definition may vary) sport in those countries. Recently in 2017, Ireland and Afghanistan were awarded test membership status i.e. full membership. Next step for ICC would be to popularize Cricket more in Afghanistan and Ireland. This can be done by establishing more cricket academies there and inducting their players in IPL. BCCI can provide huge role here.Powerful domestic leagues are one of the most important reasons, why Football is popular in countries like say, India. We Indians are fans of EPL or La Liga.In Cricket, IPL can take this place. Through IPL, BCCI should give chance to budding players of all the cricket playing countries, which may include players from countries like Nepal, Afghanistan, Ireland, Zimbabwe etc. This can make Cricket popular in these countries.IPL should provide very big role in the proliferation of cricket’s popularity. But teams must be increased so to accommodate more and more players around the world. May be structuring IPL in the format similar to European football leagues can be the way.NBA is popular all around the world. They try to popularize basketball around the world by establishing basketball academies in countries like India. May be BCCI can set up Cricket academies in countries like Kenya, Nepal, USA, Canada.With IPL and T20 there is risk to Test Cricket, but this can be neutralized by in introducing Test cricket championship which ICC has already planned. Furthermore Cricket is becoming more of a batsman’s sport. So to stop this multiple steps should be taken. Batsmen friendly powerplay rules must be scrapped and restrictions on bowlers must be reduced.
