What Would Be The Best Way For Me To Gather Some Education In Running A Small Business While

What issue-nutrition, housing, health care, education-should get the highest priority to fight poverty & why?

This is a very hard question to answer. We know that all these issues are important. Education is often the way out of poverty, but children have a hard time learning if they are hungry, ill, or live in unsafe conditions. Yet, it is not enough just to give people health care, food, and shelter. Somehow we have to give them these things, but also give them hope for the future. Somehow we have to do it all. Head Start and Even Start are great programs and they do help. They give children nutrition, health care, and education. Hopefully their families are getting adequate housing at the same time. Workforce job training is a good program if people can be trained in jobs that are in demand and if they can be transitioned into jobs and not just have the rug pulled out from under them as soon as they get a paycheck. Somehow, I still feel that education and training is what is going to give the biggest bang for the buck, but only with the necessary support services to see individuals in poverty through to the end. I have heard it said that many of the education/training programs attempt to give a hand up, not a hand out. I think that is probably true. Nothing can raise a person's self-esteem like feeling like they are successful. Education can do that, whether it is completing pre-school, high school, or college. For that reason, I still feel education is the best way to fight poverty.

Is it too late for me to continue my education?

I'm 28 years old and I graduated in 2003 but I wasn't very good in school I was ranked on the fourth quarter of my class and I took my SAT but my score was very low. What can I do??? I really want to get a career.

I am starting a 99 cents store business, any help?

First of all you will need to rent or buy a building for your store or set up a website online for your store and second of all you will need to collect a list of suppliers to get your products from.

Unless you are rich you are going to need enough money in the bank to at least stay open a year and pay yourself for that year.

This seems to be a lot but it is what you must do and most people if they do not have a lot of money will start a dot com and sell their products on there now in order to have a 99 cent store you will have to get all your products for under .5 cent in order to make a profit so there is a start and I hope this goes well for you!

Check out this website, its a supplier website and its not a 99 cent product supplier but they do offer you an online store front option so check out out and have fun.

What is the best business to start up in Pakistan?

A small Dhaba. Statistics say Pakistanis on average spend upwards of 40% of their income on food alone.Besides this fact, I have had the privilege to see numerous dhabas gradually evolve into restaurants. Some examples are - 1) I remember a Biryani stall on the main road leading to Baloch Colony, Karachi. It went by the name of Naseeb ki Biryani. The guy cooked Biryani in a huge container nearby and then sold it out on a daily basis. Within a couple of years, he had enough money to rent out the vacancy right behind his stall and began a dine-in. After this, he rented out another vacancy opposite to his stall just for cooking biryani. I must say thou, the guy made one hell of a biryani. This was in the years 2004-2008.2) Another example that is still fresh brings us to the city of foodies, Lahore. I used to live in a hostel in Faisal Town during 2013-2015. The eatery options nearby were limited for a pedestrian. That is, until another stall or "Thela" was set up on the main road right next to my alley near grocery shops. This guy was in the business of providing naan, anda and channay for breakfast, lunch & dinner. His business boomed during Ramadan. And within an year, he opened up a shabby restaurant in the vacancy behind his stall by the name of Bismillah hotel. He now serves a variety of cheap staple dishes everyday and has also inspired another person to set up a stall right opposite to his own.Believe me, hire a good cook, equip him with the right tools and find a good spot to set up a stall. Set up one bench next to your stall for people to sit and eat. Just one bench. After that, just hang in & watch your business grow!

How to start expo ( trade show ) Business how to get bookings?

1. Reserve space 1-2 years before the expo. Good locations fill up fast, and you want to make sure that you have locked in the venue. Make sure the convention center is accessible and easy for people to find. If you can get a downtown location, so much the better

2. Prepare your marketing materials including initial brochures. These materials should contain information on the objectives of this expo, how different is this expo from all others in the same field, who your target audience, and what they can get from this expo. This is your sales pitch, so answer the question "Why should I join?" Note that you may need to print revised brochures a few months before the actual event when you have sponsors lined up and participants lined up.

3. Contact possible participants. Make a list of all companies and players in the industry. Send them all your marketing materials. Then contact them to follow up. If you can hire sales representatives to do this work for you, do so. You need to do this at least one year BEFORE the expo. Check your pricing and sponsorship schemes.

4. Line up your seminars, and who your guest speakers will be. I often get invited for a speaking engagement to an expo a year before it actually starts. Just get their interest, and whether they think the dates and venue you are proposing is workable. This is critical because many people go to expos to hear certain speakers. If you have a great headliner, chances are great that people will be interested to attend.

5. Even while you are still putting together the whole event, create your own website for the expo. A year is good enough timeline for the site to be picked up by the search engine. Market the website continuously -- get related sites to link to it; inform bloggers in your field about the event so they can post it in their blogs, etc.

6. About 6 months (at the latest) before the expo (or earlier the better), start advertising in trade magazines, radio and other publications.

7. Think of come-on promotions for your event (raffles, etc.) Depending on your budget, determine how you will market to the general public

Starting an expo is hard work and you've got to be an expert in managing logistics. It can be a nightmare, but if you have a good team with you, it can be done.
