How long will it take you to pay off a $60,000 loan with a $35,000 salary?

is that a monthly salary? or yearly? in either case it would really depend on much i pay on debts already.let’s say 35k monthly; on average after taxes and expenses you are left with roughly 15–25% of your gross. in this case let’s use 15%.35k x 15% = 5250 this is my debt free spending money. how much do i want to pay a month? let’s 1k. my min. monthly payment is 1000 for 60 mo. in other words 5 years.now let’s say 35k yearly; first we do (35k/12 )x15% , which is $437 debt free spending money per month. i only want to spend $137 so 60k/137 is a 35 year payback plan.

Target profit analysis in terms of sales dollars equation method?

i have tried this many times, but cant seem to get the right answer...

Liman Corporation has a single product whose selling price is $136 and whose variable expense is $57 per unit. The company’s monthly fixed expense is $41,800.

Using the formula method, determine for the dollar sales that are required to earn a target profit of $5,916

now i have: 5916+41800/.058 (which i got by subtracting the unit sale price, by the variable expense per unit.... if this is not right, please let me know), which gives me the answer 82,268.

I got a job in LA that pays $60,000. Is that enough to survive as a bachelor?

You are barely surviving with that.Well this depends on what you like to do. Lets say after taxes you get to keep like 50k after taxes. That is $916 dollars a week and $137 a day 7 days a week.Thats pretty good if you don’t go out and only really have to take care of yourself. You can drive a decent car and live in a 1 bedroom in a decent neighborhood.Rent: $1200–$1600 for a 1 bedroomCar: $500 Lease $300 gas $150 insurance $150Eat out and have a life = $500Wardrobe = $200Groceries = $300Save $500Give or take depending on what you like to do and your taste in clothes, restaurants, and activities.
