What Would Be Your Biggest Regret In Life

Your biggest regret in life?

I would bet that most peoples regrets are going to be people that they chose to be with, or thought they were in love with. My biggest regret is that I stayed too long in the wrong relatiohship (7 YEARS!!!) with a man who kept saying he wanted to marry me, later later later, anyways, he never did and I finally ended it, and he them married his next girlfriend within the year. I was single in my 30's with my biological clock ticking away, until I finally met the right man who wanted to marry and settle down and start a family, but now we're having trouble with trying to have a baby, and the doctor thinks I might be too old!!!! so my biggest regret is staying too long with the wrong man and wasting what should have been the best years of my life.

What's your biggest regret in life?

answering this question

What's your biggest mistake or regret in life?

Reflections on mistakes and regrets in life.

I made many bad mistakes and I did have many regrets with much shame in my life. Yet I have realized that without those mistakes and without those regrets I might not be here now; with a different course of my life I might even be dead by now, or in prison or confined within the bounds of a mental hospital.

In your life of experimental actions with the conscious or unconscious wish to do good and to earn success, there is the possibility of many errors, of dire errors that you could not foresee otherwise you would try and guard yourself against those errors.

The thoughts about done mistakes can be very bothering as you are regretting those mistakes. Yet if you do think that to err is human, you will not bother yourself much about those mistakes; perhaps you will try and use the thought of those mistakes so that you hopefully will not do actions to involve the repetition of those mistakes.

In your life, in whatever work towards good that you are doing and loving to do or dreaming to do or are supposed to do (must do) for hopefully your own survival, you may try and be adopting more the attitude of a diligent experimenter so that your diligent dedicated experimenting may evoke newer experience (good, or bad regrettable and needing corrections, changes) that may be leading you on to more expertise so that eventually you may become the cleverer expert and or even the admired great glowing master or the holy saint on the path or avenue of your own life.

So also you might try and do in your life instead of bothering yourself with the pain of sickly regret about past mistakes that cannot be undone.

Good thoughts of more right and glowing actions in your daring creative life of now and for future and good luck to you!

Can you describe your biggest regret in life? How do you deal with the guilt?

I don’t have guilt about my biggest regret. But I deeply regret getting married at the age of 17. I graduated from high school in 3 years and had planned to go to college. I ALWAYS planned to go to college.I wasn’t pregnant but lived in an abusive home and chose to marry rather than living there anymore. I had a job and didn’t go to college. I have always regretted marrying so young and not furthering my education. I am 59 and have been married almost 42 years. Sounds strange, I know. But it worked out.
