What Would Happen If The Flower Girl In A Wedding Got Sick

What would happen if the flower girl in a wedding got sick?

The wedding would go on as scheduled. I seriously doubt that thousands of dollars in deposits would be sacrificed because a flower girl couldn't make it. To reschedule a wedding is very expensive and a huge hassle. I know several brides that walked down the aisle sick rather than reschedule. Unless there's been a death in the family, or the bride or groom is literally too sick to get out of bed, the show goes on as planned and as scheduled.

Buying flowers for girl in thailand. quick help please?

didn't we all answer this before? - - I think what I said is send her a coupon good for one spectacular day out, dinner and a show next time you are here - - second choice would be to send her money and tell her to take her parents or friends out - - really stuff like flowers or perfume is a very Western, nice thing - - how many times have I seen the eye roll from a Thai lady when they get such gifts, especially if they are not wealthy - it just seems to them like a big waste of money - - they really consider it foolish more than romantic - -

And I am with you!! I am so sick of everyone calling all Thai ladies hookers and HIV and everything else - - I guess they are just jealous or screwed up or both.

Boat wedding - no kids allowed?

I say more power to you. I can't stand being at a wedding and having a billion kids sliding all over the dance floor. It kills the atsmophere.

When I get married my invitations and RSVP cards will include: "At the request of the Bride and Groom, Adults Only Please!" And the invites will be addressed to "Mr. & Mrs. SO-and-so" not "Mr. and Mrs. So-and-so and Family." My mom did that when she got remarried in 1998 and it worked out fine.

It's your wedding. If other guest are uncomfortable because your flower girl is allowed then I would say they need to be reminded that this day is about you and your husband-to-be and not them. Nothing ruins the video of a great toast like a screaming toddler in the background. Other people forget that there is life outside of kids and that not everyone thinks their darling Suzie is so darling!

Weird Wedding Dreams?

This is all I can find, and I hope it helps a bit with interpreting your dreams.

If you are getting married and have dreams of your pending wedding, then it highlights the stress of organizing a wedding. Conflicts over wedding details, tension with family and in-laws, fear of commitment, and loss of independence may all cause wedding anxiety dreams. Research has shown that up to 40% of brides and grooms have dreams about their ceremony and things going perfectly.

To dream that you lost your wedding ring, signify a problem or unresolved issue in your marriage.

Is anyone else sick of all the typical wedding crap.....?

I think the wedding industry has completely blown up over the past few years, and our society has been focused way too much on weddings and not marriages... I could rant and go on, but basically I just don't want to conform to having what is now considered a "traditional wedding".
Should my fiance and I just elope? I'd love to have a really special day, but just not one filled with worry about whether the centerpieces are right, or if the bridesmaids are matchy-matchy enough, etc. Anyone else with me?
Your advice is very much appeciated!!

How many people are invited to a typical wedding?

Guest list size greatly varies.

Some people have 25 guests, some people have 500. If you have a larger family and social circle, generally you will have more guests. However, cost is the biggest determination of how many you can afford to invite.

For the wedding party, usually its 3-5 bridesmaids (including maid of honor), 3-5 groomsmen (including best man), a couple ushers, a flower girl and a ring bearer.

As for the cost, that really varies as well. Based on the type of food you serve, what you serve, alcohol, no-alcohol and location. They can cost as little as $5,000 or as much as $100,000+, most budgets I see people post on here are about $10,000-30,000. The cost of living in California is much higher than the cost of living in Michigan, therefore a wedding in California would cost a lot more than it would in Michigan for the same setting.

My wedding coming up my guest list is 320
I'm having 5 attendants on each side, 3 ushers, 2 flower girls and 2 ring bearers
My budget, I'm going to spend about $15,000 when its over including the honeymoon.
