What Would I Need To Score On The Asvab To Qualify To Be A 68w In The Army

Do you need a good score on the asvab to get 68w army job?

Yes, the ASVAB is timed and you can't use a calculator. The test isn't too bad but that depends on your test taking skills and general knowledge of various subjects. I recommend getting one of these prep books
It can make a big difference in how well you do since you'll know exactly what to expect on the test. The higher your score, the more opportunities you'll have and the better jobs you can qualify for so don't take the test lightly just because some people say it's easy. There's a big difference between doing okay and doing extremely well.

The prep/study book will get you used to the timing of the test so you know how long to spend on each question and get used to the time pressure you'll be under. They give you everything you need to know to do well. Good luck!

ASVAB: How high of a score will I need to qualify for a 68w Health Care Specialist? (N Guard)?

The AFQT subtests (math knowledge, arithmetic reasoning, paragraph comprehension, and word knowledge) are the tests that determine whether or not you can enlist and the rest of the tests determine whether or not you qualify for a certain job. Take a look at what subtests go into the scores you need (general science and mechanical comprehension I believe) and focus hard on the AFQT subtests and those.

What asvab score do you need to be a 68w (health care specialist)?

It's not the ASVAB score (AFQT) that you have to worry about but your line scores. But yes, an ASVAB score of 80 should be high enough that your line scores will be good for the MOS you want.

The four areas of the ASVAB used to compute the AFQT score are: Word Knowledge (WK), Paragraph Comprehension (PC), Arithmatic Reasoning (AR), and Mathmatics Knowledge (MK).

After taking the practice test at military.com I was worried about scoring high enough to get into MPs or one of the Medical MOSs. The practice test was harder than the actual ASVAB.
My ASVAB score was a 92
ST= 131
GT= 124

Good luck on your test. You should do well.

What score on the ASVAB do i need?

Your have to score a 30 or above on the ASVAB but you will not get that many options on what type of military job your going to do. for a 68W you have to get above 60 and if you score above 50 you get a kicker for the MIGBill. Health care specialist is difficult, you will have to have a civilian education at least two years of college in the medical field and than you will have to do another 2 more years training at Fort Sam. for your AIT just like your resident.

What asvab score do you need to be a combat medic (68W)?
