Mysteries: Why do I always hear marble dropping on the upper floor of my apartment at night?

When living in an historic building in IL. I often would hear what sounded like a marble or small ball dropping then almost a bit of a quick tap-tap like bounce. I thought perhaps a cat playing with a marble-ball. I would also hear what sounded like a chair scooting back from say a kitchen table and the sounds of someone walking quicky about wearing high heeled shoes.I asked some people that worked at this building why do I hear these sounds so often when the sturdy concrete between the floors was supposed to be blocking sounds and having someone living above me was supposed to be noise free (rent was high)and not to be a concern? The workers looked at each other and myself a bit puzzled, I was like "what"?, then shrugged. Not a girl living above me, no cat or any pet and all and in fact a guy lived there who was rarely in town.........hmmm?Gohsts, spirits? That was the inference, very old building, who knows. Definently not a rodent so just some food for thought, but possibly your marble is a little creature at play? Ha-ha Thanks!

What does the fish represent in the Bible?

In most of the symbolic scriptures, such as in prophetic visions, the seas represent the nations, the dry land represents Israel (or believers in the Creator), and the fish in the seas represent people in the nations that have yet to be “brought ashore” to receive the “breath of life,” or His Spirit.“Beasts” that “rise up out of the sea” are entire kingdoms of people that rise up out of the nations, and “horns” on the beasts are kings or rulers of those kingdoms. (So are mountains in a different context.)One of the most symbolic miracles attributed to the Messiah was when he told his disciples to cast their net on the other side of the boat and they hauled in a full catch of “153 large fish.” Translated: he turned them outward from focusing only on Israel toward taking the Word (Torah, commandments, message of Life) to the nations. What is also interesting about the number 153 is that it very likely may be the total number of nations on earth at some point in time (we currently have 193 nations total). Also 153 is a triangulated number of 17. For example, imagine a set of bowling pins which has 4 rows of pins. It forms a triangle with 4 pins on all three sides, totaling 10, and this particular geometric formation represents discipling. The 1 pin becomes 2 in the next row for a total of 3. The row of 2 then adds a row of 3 more for a total of 6. The next row of 4 makes 10, then 15, then 20 and so on. This is also the same geometric pattern found in his parable of the seed that falls into good soil (the Word of God into a good heart) which produces “some thirty, some sixty and some a hundred fold.” Imagine three whole sets of bowling pins placed together to form a triangle of thirty pins, with another row of sets making 60, and with another row, 100 disciples…all produced from the one.Another way to look at this fascinating number of fish is that 153 is the total of all numbers from 1 through 17. 1+2+3….+16+17=153! Furthermore, the number 17 is a very symbolic prime number representing the Messiah. The entire point of all this is that YHVH seeks to bring all people from all nations into His fold, starting from just the Messiah through the process of one-to-one discipling. It was His intent from creation (His spirit hovering over the seas), His purpose for Israel (to shine as a light to the nations), and His will for His “renewed covenant” disciples to multiply as fishers of men to bring His Word (Torah, eternal life) to every “fish in the sea.” : )

Is there any difference between a needle and a syringe and, if so, what is it?

They are two things.A syringe can be used without a needle, for example, to help with oral administration.A needle can then be attached to the syringe, to allow the contents of the needle to be injected. The way the words are commonly used in English, people often say needle when they actually mean “syringe with a needle attached”.There are a few products that are sold as a single unit. These are typically described as a hypodermic syringe (a syringe for use in administration of medication under the skin).

How do you hang a tapestry on the wall?

There are a few ways to do this, and which one is best for you will likely depend on your level of DIY experience. If you have a lot of DIY knowledge, the best way to hang a tapestry would be to affix a curtain rail, clothes rail or similar length of pole to your wall in order to allow the tapestry to hang from it, essentially like a fixed set of curtains.Although, somebody who is able to do that would never ask this question so I’ll focus on the simpler way:All you need for this is your tapestry and a hammer and nails. You simply need to nail both top corners of the tapestry to the wall to start. This may be enough for a light tapestry, but if it’s heavier you’ll want to put several nails along the top to help hold it, and maybe even some at the bottom and sides depending on how you want the tapestry to hang.If you don’t want to damage your wall or make holes, there are products that can do this for you using adhesive pads that are super easy to use.I will include a link to one of these in the footnotes but do be aware of the weight limits and the fact you may need more than one if your tapestry is pretty heavy.https://www.amazon.com/WallX-Quality-Picture-Damage-Free-Pictures/dp/B07NDGYN79
