What would you name these siblings (Guidelines) + BQ - 10 pts?

**GUIDELINES**: All FIRST names must have something to do with either FIRE or the color RED. Either by meaning, association, whatever. Be creative! ;) Middle names can be anything you want.

BQ: Thoughts on the name Ruth?

Using the guidelines in the comment, what would be good names for post-apocalyptic mutant clans?

What guidelines dude? There are no rules after the apocalypse. You can name your clan ‘Pinkie Toe’ and it honestly won't matter. I mean, it might make your clan seem a little weak but that's about it. But, besides that point, here are some of my suggestions:The Chemical Weapons, a pretty good name for a clan of people who are radioactive or deformed by whatever is left after this apocalypse. The Devils First, a few hardcore satanists who survived the apocalypse and now just do blood rituals with whoever they capture for fun.The Souless, a clan of people who were made blind by some chemical spill during the apocalypse, but it also heightened all their other senses. Kinda like Netflix’s Daredevil, but a big group of him. (Get it? Cause most blind people have those empty looking eyes.)The Housewives, just a few frustrated ladies with no rules to stop them from killing people anymore. In my opinion they'd be the toughest and scariest clan out there.

How do you put on makeup (the complete guidelines and name of the products)?

Hey I hope my answer helps you.Since I'm from Delhi, India you can imagine how hot the summers are-45′C is normal. I have a combination skin.So I'm gonna share how I go about it:• After cleaning face properly I would use a toner to smaller down the pores OR you could use ice cubes.• Now put primer (I use gel based Meilin primer just for 400/- Rs) don't forget to cover t zones properly.• After putting the primer I use Suncros Matte finish soft sunscreen 50 Spf (Rs 650/- I think) Since it is oily enough I don't need a moisturizer.• For my skin (sweaty in summers), the best suited foundation is Lakme 9–5 mousse foundation (you can check prices online), I only use it little mainly on the dark areas and spread evenly in an outward motion.• After all these steps I never ever skip baking, for that I use rose powder with sunscreen by Lakme (Rs99/- only). I majorly put it under the eyes, T zone and my jawline. Leave the powder for 5 minutes and then brush it off with a big powder brush. So if I do baking I don’t use face powder or sometimes I just use the compact with a powder brush to set the makeup. For that I use Maybelline dream satin skin two way cake with Spf 32•PA+++ (Please check the price online I think around 600–700/-)• Once I'm done with baking I would use a natural color blush for that pink tint.• For the eyes I’m not much of a crazy person so I just use the best liquid eyeliner in the world i.e. by Colorbar. Priced around 350/- it is really worth every penny.• For lips I put the lipstick in the end, I usually use Kat Von d liquid lipsticks (USD$ 23) since it stays forever. I use a normal creme lipstick over it to cover my lips with a little moisture.Lipstick and blush are your personal choice, they could be anything from matte to glossy to creamy to velvety to powdery etc.I hope this answer helps you to do your daily makeup.XoxoAditi

BQ: What's your favorite guilty pleasure name combo?

What are your personal guidelines for good variable names?

Q: What are your personal guidelines for good variable names?Thx for the A2A.In addition to the excellent answers provided here, I would like to expand it to identifiers in general and point out X things:I employ the name space of the language, so the convention exemplified by Khanno Hanna ܚܢܘ ܚܢܐ is useful in C, but not as useful in, for example Java where the “UniLinkedList” can be broken out of the name of the functions and become the name of the class encompassing the method.in addition, I name methods according to verbs with necessary qualifiers as well as part of protocol and context, for example, “createBananaFactory” can be the factory method for creating Banana classes (cf. Factory method pattern - Wikipedia). Similarly, in Observer pattern - Wikipedia, there is a protocol based on setState, notify, update, getState, then methods involved in this protocol should follow this naming conventionApart from this, my personal preference is CamelCase or droopyCamelCase with human readable names (but I do not worry about the Carpatel syndrome). I tend to follow mathematical conventions for names, if applicable.

What are some rules or guidelines to follow when using a pseudonym?

I don’t use a pseudonym, but I wish I had for only one reason: to separate my adult (non-child friendly) from my kids’ books. As for choosing a pseudonym, I’ve seen erotica authors use some very suggestive names. I think there’s probably a quiz floating around to find out your stripper name using birth dates and initials. I think that’s how they come up with those.I’d suggest using initials rather than a first/middle name in mystery or thriller genres. I see a lot of that, especially with women writers. If your last name is not too out of mainstream, then go ahead and use it (Ian Stephens is a really good author name already). Selecting a pronounceable last name is a good idea. You want readers to be able to spell it when they recommend it to friends. On the other hand, China Miéville seems to have no problems selling his books. However, I did have to look it up for the spelling. I note that he did not to use his middle name Tom instead of China. He chose to be the unique person he is.The final check would be to make sure no other author is using your exact pseudonym. If you decided to call yourself J.K. Rowlings, I’m pretty sure her lawyers would be sending you a polite note to cease and desist. You wouldn’t have to, but it would be a very dumb thing to do.

Guidelines for transliterating foreign names into Hebrew?

Hi and good luck with your studies!

Here are some things that I can think of right now, you may contact me if you have any further questions…

*Dagesh is not normally used for ambiguous letters, e.g.- [Paul] פול, rather than פּול.
*The vowels "ee"/ "i" (in, bee), and "o" (or)/ "u" (push)/ "oo" (soon) are almost ALWAYS represented by Yud [י] and Vav [ו] respectively, E.g.- [Alison] אליסון; [Maureen] מורין.
The vowel "e" (pet) is NOT represented except for the times when it appears at the end of a name- then it is written as Heh [ה], e.g.- [Andre] אנדרה.
The vowel "a" (father) is either represented by Aleph [א] or not represented at all, this is a subjective choice, e.g.- [Maya] מאיה or מיה; [Hans] האנס or הנס. Note, however, that Aleph comes only when the "a" vowel is stressed, e.g.- [Jamal] ג'מאל, rather than ג'אמל. When "a" comes last it is also represented by Heh, e.g.- [Hannah] האנה.
Diphthongs that end with "y" or "i" are represented by double Yud [יי], e.g.- [Grace] גרייס. "ay" or "ai" are sometimes represented by Aleph Yud [אי], or Yud Aleph [יא], e.g.- [Brian] בריאן.

*W: double Vav [וו], e.g.- [Wallace] וואלס; [William] וויליאם
*V: either Bet [ב] or Vav [ו], Bet is never used when V is the first letter. E.g.- [Olivia] אוליביה; [Viviane] ויויאן.
*T: Tet [ט], e.g- [Charlotte] שרלוט; [Katie] קייטי; [Tom] טום
*TH: Thav [ת], e.g.- [Thomas] תומס; [Matthew] מתיו; [Ethan] איתן; [Elizabeth] אליזבת
*K/C: Kuf [ק], e.g.- [Katherine] קתרין; [Chloe] קלואי. The exceptions are Christian, Chris, Christiana, Christopher- כריסטיאן, כריס, כריסטיאנה, כריסטופר
*X: Kuf Samech [קס], e.g.- [Max] מקס. The only exception is Alexander- אלכסנדר
*S: always Samech [ס], e.g.- [Susan] סוזן; [Jessica] ג'סיקה. The exception is Sarah- שרה
*Glottal stops and vowels that appear first in a name are always represented by Aleph [א], never Ayin, e.g.- [Owen] אוון; [Ashton] אשטון. Ayin may be used for Arabic names (Ali- עלי).

*P, when comes last, is transliterated Peh [פ] rather than Peh Sofit [ף], e.g.- [Phillip] פיליפ
*J: Gimmel with upper apostrophe [ג'], e.g.- [John] ג'ון; [George] ג'ורג'.
*ZH (as in "pleasure"): Zayin with upper apostrophe [ז'], e.g.- [Brigitte] בריז'יט; [Georgette] ז'ורז'ט.
*CH (as in "chicken"): Tzadi with upper apostrophe [צ'], e.g.- [Chandler] צ'נדלר.
