Since MNC's have people from almost all the states and I was having interest in learning new languages… Training took place in Coimbatore where I had to meet my first best friend ever Prashanth.Prashanth is an introvert only till he becomes close to you. . He is very caring when it comes to his friends, he knows how to value relationships, nourish them, nurture them, which I had learnt from him… He knows to not spend too much on what he doesn't need, He is having a good vision about his life, He is the one who started asking me to read books, he is a book freak… He is more responsible about society, knows how to encourage his friends to achieve greater things in life… If you ask me to stay with a friend forever and be happy I can say he is the one… Because it's been so long I met him and those often visits say still we both are holding same friendship… Bro come we will go have boost wala… LOL…!!The other guy is Vipin, I met him in my training too, Vipin is more of the other side of Prashanth… He is not a book freak, lazy but active, 0 sized he calls himself because he looks round in shape. . Just wanted your opinion as to what you think about this situation. My two best friends are currently not in good terms with a mutual friend of ours let’s call her Betty. So they had recently gotten in an argument with Betty but just left it like that nothing resolved and their friendship is in a grey area right now they don’t really talk although one of them does work together with Betty. One of my friends “Carolina” started getting suspicious that Betty was secretly going out with this other guy from work so she called my other friend “Lorna” to come to her job (they where working at the same time) so that they could secretly both wait for Betty to get out as she got out later and follow her to see if she was cheating. So they did they waited 2 hours till Betty got out then they followed her in the car and followed her to another location where Betty ended up meeting the guy from work. Now Betty has a reputation of cheating so it’s not so surprising that she might have been doing that but my question is, have my two other friends gone too far following my other friend without them even being on speaking terms?
What would you think if an old acquaintance/friend contacted you on social media after several years?
I found an old friend/acquaintance I used to enjoy talking to nearly daily in high school, but lost contact with after high school, on Instagram. They have no other social media and no photos on their Instagram, so I'm not even sure they really use it. They also have no mutual followers or people we would both know. We weren't best friends or anything, but got along well and talked to each other a lot. I'd like to try to say hi, but don't want to be weird or creepy, especially since we are of the opposite sexes (I'm a girl and he's a guy). Is there a way to not be awkward about it, or am I just overthinking it? How would you feel if you received a message from an old friend on social media after nearly 10 years?
