I really screwed up...and my mom is SUPER mad at me?? help me what do i do!?
This might be long but please read it. So I'm in the 9th grade and in a college-level class (it's a bunch of high school students, but the class is college level). It's a theology class...like church history and all that stuff...really, really boring. Anyway, the first semester of my freshmen year I was totally failing the class. Like I was getting D's and F's on the tests and not doing some of the assignments (yeah, I know, that was definitely a stupid thing to do) and my mom was so mad at me that she grounded me from seeing any of my friends for a few months and she took away my phone and computer for a few months as well. I saw what I did wrong, and I got back on track and started getting C's and an occasional B in the class instead. I even got an A once. Well, in February, my teacher assigned us a thesis paper. It had to be 8-15 pages long depending on our grade level. It took me a month and a half to do mine, and I turned it in. Well, I failed it, but my mom wasn't mad because everyone in the class did. So my teacher gave us a week to re-do our reports which was hard because it was originally a month long project. I worked hours on it every day including today, and turned it in today. I hadn't read one of my assignments because I had spent every day the last week working on my report for hours. Of course, my teacher decided that we should have a pop quiz, which I failed. I only got half right. But I did ALL of my other assignments. But my mom was SO mad that I failed the quiz, and also because my teacher emailed her and told her I wasn't doing as well on the tests as I was before (I was getting C's and D's but I was still trying to do well). So now I'm in huge trouble, especially because my teacher said today that we have a test in two days on the last four lessons. So I'm toast. My mom won't let me hang out with friends or use my phone for the rest of the school year. =/ what do I do?
HELP! My girlfriend borrowed my laptop?
and I forgot to clear the history. I know the rigmarole is to empty the pipe then wipe but she texted me when I was at work earlier and told me she needed to borrow it for her dissertation because her desktop has been attacked by virus'. When I got home, she had already taken it. I knew it was a bad idea to give her my spare key. It wouldn't be so bad, but it wasn't generic pornography I was watching - it was the Bangkok Chick Boys and if she checks my history she will...well I don't know what she will think or do. We've been seeing each other for a year and I have never told her that I (sometimes) like to deviate from the norm and get my kicks out of Lady-Boys. I'm heterosexual, but I just like a change now and then. What if she dumps me? Or worse, what if she dumps me AND tells my friends and family about this? I will never live this down. Please tell me what you would do in this situation. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
Spilt water on laptop, now it won't turn on?
I spilt water on my laptop, it basically shut itself off instantly, so I unplugged everything from it, turned it on its side and let the water drain out. I then undid some screws and loosened up the bottom and took out the battery, although I couldn't get the base completely off because a few screws wouldn't come loose. I've left it to dry for 2 days now and I just put the battery back in, plugged the charger back in but when I press the on button nothing happens at all. I didn't put the screws back in because I wanted to see if it would work before I put them all back in. Is there anything else I can do, or am I going to need to either send it in for repairs or buy a new one? The laptop was a sony vaio by the way.

No, seriously, they can survive battle where their wielders, who I will talk about later, have been blown to very miniscule bits. Those nicks on the blade are presumably for aesthetics, given that even if you managed to harm it, possibly by stopping time, it’s made out of self-healing metal.A Resurrection Orb is pretty much what it sounds like. It’s an orb, which can resurrect Necrons that dies. It can’t do the same to living beings, but Mr. Necron Lord can presumably just hand off his Orb to me, so if he somehow “dies”, I can revive him. Then again, they work by “creating a fusion reaction similar to a miniature sun. The Necrons feed off the solar radiation, enhancing their living metal's regenerative properties.” (Lexicanum). So maybe it would be best if I didn’t hold it.And there’s the Necron Lord himself. Necrons, as a whole, are tanky as sh*t. They’re “robots” made of necrodermis, which is a self-repairing metal. And if you do manage to take down a Necron, there’s a pretty good chance that they’ll get back up a couple minutes later. If you hit them so hard that they won’t be able to get back up by themselves, they teleport back to get manually repaired. If they get even harder, they self-destruct themselves, and a few thing around them. And what exactly are you trying to do? Repair it or what? That is a specially hardened high tensile screw done up to a very high torque. That's why you stripped the head and you will never will be able to drill it out. You should know, they are a sealed unit and should only be stripped in sterile conditions. All you have done is totally contaminated it. Also there is no way you will ever be able to reassemble it and make it work because of the fine tolerances. To give you some idea, the air distance between the data rewrite head and the platter is 50 nm [0.05µ], a human hair is about 100µ so you get the picture.
