How did the movie "2012" end?
I can't remembe very crucial details....but well their are these metal Arks that the government is building to get people out alive, but their only letting in who they think is important and who can help rebuild their population.....well John Cusack and his family, along wiht that Russian guys young wife (the russian-or whoever ditches her after their pilot-guys friend dies -he and the guys wife were having an affair.) do find these Arks and are trying to get in the back way......well through all of this that one asshole dude whom u hate is trying to close all the gates so they can prepare for this massive flood that is headed their way......as John Cusack and family get to safety the doors start closing leaving his young daughter on the safe side and him his wife, son, and two other people on the other......as the ark starts to close it gets jammed on a jackhammer which John C used to get his family into the ark....he must go retrieve it to close it off and save them all.,...well u think obviously that he dies in the atempt- after his son goes after him they get the jam out together and the boy makes it bak but John C does not...u think hes dead but not to fear he comes up minutes later and the gates open and they get to safety......meanwhile outside the presidents and people are trying to figure out if they shoulf open the gates for hte rest of the people outside.....and they do finally.........after the ark is sealed they prepare for the jolt when the wave hits...when it does it knocks one ark free and sends it hurtling towards i think mt everest or st. helen i can't remeber.....but they finally get theri propellers in reverse just in time to miss it and avoid complete damage and everthing is ok/.........the last image u see is of the arks opening theri doors so the people can see earth now......................and it is covered in water.........then it goes offf. by far one of the best end of the world movies i have ever seen...John Cusacks performance tops all....great movie!!!! hope i helped and if n e more questions just post i will try to help some more

What's the difference between the movie and the book version of Les Miserables?
There are quite a few differences, I’ll name a few.Marius’ character- He is a far better character in the movie and musical than he is in the book. In the book Marius finds out about Valjean’s past and ostracizes him from Cosette. He then leaves, and loses the will to live. I guess in the past it was believable for women to abandon someone who gave their lives for them so easily for a man. In the movie this doesn’t happen.In the book Cosette grows up in the convent, their entrance to the convent is assisted by the man Valjean saved from the cart earlier in the story. Valjean leaving the convent for Cosette’s sake shows his sacrifice for personal safety for Cosette. This is not shown in the movie.Fantines backstory in the book is pretty tragic, but never mentioned in the musical/movie. We just know her daughter is being taken care of others. The Thenardiers in the book are very bad people, and in the musical they are treated more as comic relief. Every time Fantine has to pay more for Cosette’s care, the money is used for Eponine. But Fantine gets to sing a great song in the musical.There is also a relationship between Thenardier and Marius through the battle of Waterloo, which helps explain things in the book, but was cut from the movie/musical. It’s easy to see why, you can’t put everything in.In the book Valjean is imprisoned again, following Fantine’s death and his admission in court, and then escapes to find Cosette. In the movie he goes straight from escaping Javert to finding Cosette.I loved the musical version and the book itself, and I highly recommend reading the unabridged version of the book.

As a tsunami sweeps in it picks up the parked Air Force One causing the heavy plane to crash into the ark, breaking the ark from its anchor. Tamara drowns within the ark. The gates are jammed and the ark ends up on a crash course for Mount Everest. Jackson fixes the problem with the help of his son and the ark crashes but slows down enough that the damage is minor. They are able to escape. They then start a new calendar as it shows the date and the year was 0001. When the flood eventually recedes, the captains of the arks decide upon the Cape of Good Hope in South Africa as a suitable place to reestablish humanity. Jackson reconciles with his family, and Helmsley and Laura start a relationship. The movie ends with a view of the world showing the dramatically changed African continent.

The blonde russian girl drowned because of the flood in the boat. They finally got the doors shut after the guy and little boy go down. They thought the guy died but he didn't. They get the boat turned on and reversed it. Then later on they show on the screen : 0000027 days - 03:43 hours - 0001 year. (It was something like that not exact though. Then it shows Adrian ( the scientist ) and the presidents daughter ask eachother out. Then its sunny outside so everyone on the boat can go out onto the "deck" and look around. Its all water outside. Then they find out that the water is receeding on the land and the highest piece of land is the mountains in Africa. So they set a coarse there and they all live happily ever after. Okay maybe not happily ever after since almost all the people on the earth died but they were still happy they made it. Thats about it. If you wanna know more about the little details i would go see the whole thing. It was a good movie by the way. PS: I don't know why they were crying. Earlier in the movie, yes i can see why because i was getting teary eyed but im not sure why at the end. Hope this helped ya!
