I just started at Wal-mart for the Meat/Seafood department and It's a part time position..I'm not starting school untill fall... Anyone work in managment or personel know how I can get hired fulltime? I plan on staying here untill I finish school

Down here they give you 30_50 cent raises a year and people that do the min get little and I'm fine with that. My bro has worked there for 2 years and makes 15$ an hour. I a low stress job while I'm I'm school. And walmart is the only store in walking distance that allows smoke breaks.

I'm not feeling good in the slightest and I still tried to make it to work today. But when I started my car I noticed both of my front tires were completely flat. I tried calling way before my shift and no one would answer. I went onto the wire and filled out a request for ppto and I dont understand if I'm okay or not. The system automatically approved it.. They dont have my schedule in the system yet and idk if I even have any hours made up for using the ppto but my personnel manager told me we could use it right away. I live in Joliet, IL Amanda, I was nervous at first too just because so many jobs had turned me down already and this was the one job that hired me. I have the most worst of credit, I am currently living in Wyoming, but when I used to live in Wisconsin thats when I got into alot of financial trouble, first of all had to file bankrupty, then have a vehicle repossion on my credit which happend a year ago, have 2 payday loans out there plus a few bank accounts that are overdrawn. Since I been here in Wyoming for a year I haven't even gone to a single payday loan place, haven't overdrawn my bank account, I am alot more responsible then what I used to be, its just a matter of alot of things I did wrong with money when I was younger, anyone know of people who have gotten on with walmart with the most worst of credit? Also in the area where I live all the jobs pay very good money, if I got on at Walmart I would be making $13.40 an hour working in maintnence , I would be able to catch up on all my mistakes that I have made.
