Creative names for a psychology blog?

I'm thinking of starting a blog dealing with psychology. It's going to have topics like how to deal with your emotions, does intelligence make you lonely, it will have some exercise tips in it and how that relates to psychology, and more. I just wanted to get some ideas of what to call my blog.

What is sport psychology?

Sports psychology is the study of athletes. A sports psychologist works with individuals or teams to improve performance.
Before the NFL draft teams will get a psychological work up on rookies they are looking at to make sure they are tough enough mentally meet the demands of the sport. Teams will look at how individual players may effect the teams chemistry.
Individuals will get help overcoming performance. A golfer that is having trouble putting may use a sports psychologist to help with the mental part of putting or another part of their game.
Most professional have a sports psychologist as part of their staff.

What exercises do sports psychologists use to build up mental strength in Olympic champions and other top level athletes?

Check out Relentless by Tim Grover and Mind Gym by Gary Mack. There are so many books you can check into for this.Common areas include: visualization/imagery, arousal control, mental chatter/self talk, performance routines/rituals, goal/expectation setting. This is a massive topic. I'd say the most under-utilized is performance rituals. Think of a time when you had a great performance. What was the couple hours before that performance like? Highlight important pre-race ritual points and use this knowledge to "shorten the trigger" for future events.

Should I change my major to psychology?

My parents were almost distraught when I told them I wanted to pursue a psychology degree merely for the reason you stated, it's questionable if it possesses much ability for the future jobs and opportunities but I am doing a double major in both bio and psych.

Really, most tell me that if you get to a Master's degree you can be a therapist or if you're interested in psychiatry you can take the medical school route but it's all a matter of preference. If it's what you genuinely enjoy, I would take the psych route in that you may find later on that you'd like to go for a Master's or beyond and while it will still be just as much of a struggle as pursuing something else to that degree, at least you'll be enjoying your time in class and ultimately when you reach the job that intrigues you, it will be the most rewarding feeling yet.

Is exercise physiology the same as exercise science?

Exercise Science is a broad term that includes exercise physiology, biomechanics, motor control, and exercise/sport psychology (to name a few). In some universities, they may only offer courses/research opportunities in exercise physiology under the title of exercise science, so in that case, they would be the same. However, in the grander scheme of things, exercise physiology is a sub-discipline of exercise science.
