You’re going to get a wide variety of responses because there are, quite obviously, a wide variety of women in the world with their own preferences, tastes, likes/dislikes, etc.Therefore, no one can really tell you if women in general find you handsome. Some women might. Some might not.Just because one woman doesn’t find you handsome doesn’t mean another one won’t. If he's got other great qualities so far, I'd give him a chance to qualify his remark. If not, see it as the red flag it probably is. You seem like more of a "big picture" thinker than most western women, & seem to appreciate men for what they are, so he might have stupidly associated that with being an asian/russian bride-type, when it certainly isn't necessarily. Now, more to your question. There are 2 main benefits of western women, they're more fun/intelligent & can be more of a friend than non-western women. Most other aspects of most western women are negatives. They're conflicted about their own needs & don't know it, they want to have their cake and eat it too, they're unappreciative, and generally want men to be at least somewhat ashamed for being a man (selfish, uncivilized, wishing for Pamela Anderson).
What do women mean by saying, "I want a man who knows what he wants in life"?
It means they want a man that will say something and mean and live by it without his mind changing. It means he must have a stable mind for what he wants and need in his life. She don't wanna unsure relationship with some dumb immature boy thats not ready for a relationship that could lead to marriage. You have to be sure about yourself ,your goals,your future and where you wanna be in your life. And you must be sure about who you wanna marry and spend the rest of your life with.

Well Calli Your question and story is compelling and my heart goes out to you. Unfortunately we are in a world that looks matter and the shape of a woman is defined by Men. Your story is strong and anyone reading it can feel you and the concerns that goes with it. Young lady if you don't learn to love yourself and ignore the world, then you will never find out how Special you really are. What makes a Hero? Is he born that way or is he made? This is the same for Women. Do they become women or are they born that way? Strong women don't need Men or the world to define them. I was told as a young girl and a teenager that I would probably always be a carpenters dream...hence..flat a as a board and straight as a nail. It hurt my feelings when people would remark on my thin flat or straight body shape. I felt robbed as a woman to be and scared that no one would love me because of my lack of what the world says I should be. Should I have surgery to correct these man said flaws? I let these people ruin my young years and set me up for many disappointment in the future. What was I going to do? My Mother...God bless her soul. She told me of a woman that had men begging for her. This woman was not beautiful or physically beautiful, but yet she had men pitching for her hand. This woman was Cleopatra. This woman used her head and status to control men. Men seen her as powerful and independent and wanted her for her status and reign to the thrown. You young lady have this same status..you just don't know it yet. If you portray yourself as a strong woman it's not going to matter how you look. The saying goes..A man wants what he can't have..remember this. Put yourself above the rest in confidence and go Man fishing. Just as fishermen thrown back the ones that aren't up to their par or likeness; you should do the same. What makes a great Woman? It's the state of mind and the confidence she carries with her everywhere. Your status is already there..now you need to learn how to use it. Will any girl ever love me?
Find the girl that you truly love. Then, do what no man actually has the balls to do. Woo the sh*t out of her in a gushy, soft, romantic, way and drive out that girl's inner female. Now I shall happily list all of the things that would make me die for a man. 1) Roses. Shy guy, blushing, handing me a dozen roses (plastic or real, doesn't matter) and shuffling off, even with total silence. Ah gosh, I'd squeal. 2) Chocolate. Oh my, chocolate makes me lose it. Cheap chocolate, fancy chocolate, easter chocolate, yum yum yum chocolate. Buy me chocolate - buy me a chocolate ring and I will marry you. 3) Sensitivity. Prove you have feelings. Shy guys are nice in that way, because they're usually much deeper and more thoughtful than the loud, "outgoing" guys who are often crude jerks. 4) Writing! Write me a poem or something, damn it. Write me a story. Write something - a song if you really want to - and sing it or read it to me or stuff it shyly in my locker when I'm not around. Whether I know your name or not, I'll love you. Okay, so if a guy did every single one of those things to me, screw it I'd hunt him down and lock him up and make him marry me. I wouldn't care what he looked like, how shy he was, what color his eyes were - I wouldn't care about anything. So in the end, if you want to be loved, use your adorable shy personality to your advantage. Be subtle, not blunt and crude. Be romantic, think out of the box.
