What happens when I smoke weed with strep throat?
I was diagnosed with strep 3 days ago. That day and the day after I smoked weed with a friend. On the second day one of my other friends told me it was a bad idea to smoke while I had strep because the strep will take longer to heal. Is that the only thing it will do? I m not going to smoke anymore until the antibiotics are fine but I m freaking out. Could smoking the weed have caused something really bad to happen? Should I go back to the Dr?

I really had the need to answer this question. First I have had strep throat one time in my life, this is what happened. Started getting a sore throat at work. I came home it only got worse. By the time I went to bed I was crying. I could not swallow my throat hurt all night long. I was up most of the night. So 8 in the morning I immediately called the doctor. They said sure come right in. It took me 20 minutes and I was at the doctors crying. He said you have the worst case of strep throat I have ever seen. After receiving a 1500 mg shot of pencillian I went home. My strep throat was beginning to feel better and by evening it was gone. I was so exhausted from not sleeping the night before I went to bed. I woke at at 6 am felt a little drained but went to work instead. You won't feel like smoking anything when you have strep throat. I smoked and it never crossed my mind to smoke. Smoking weed or a joint is another story. I smoked a joint once in my life. In high school it was called Mary Jane. The reason I didn't pick up this habit, weed was so harsh going down your throat. All it made me do is cough, cough and cough. So I stuck to cigarettes. Weed was against the law and cigarettes we're not. I didn't like the feeling of being stoned and not in control. My head spun around in circles and I did not think it was funny. I saw no humor in smoking weed, or joints.

Drinking marijuana tea good or bad for a sore throat?
Any tea will help the warmth helps sooth your throat. And the added benefit of getting high might help the discomfort you are feeling. Add honey and lemon and it will help as much as any other the honey and the lemon are the main components. Since you said fancy myself I am guessing you like milk in your tea and this will not be good for you right now.
