What's your current favourite song?

What is a song worth if it does not give you little goosebumps when you hear it for the first time? Or one which does not make you listen to it over and over !Well, the most recent song for me; I'll certainly go with Something Just Like This by Coldplay and The Chainsmokers.Coldplay, is one of the best artists in my opinion. The songs, the instrumental music, everything is perfect. And this song takes you to places you never been before.I would also like to share my all-time favorites. Yay !Sad Beautiful Tragic by Taylor Swift. This song sounds sad and tragic and it is beautiful. It was released with the Red album, but it always felt like it did not get that much popular like the others in the album. Maybe because it does not have a song video with it. I wish there was !Beautiful Now by Zedd. The song's beat break : Bah Bah Bah Bababah Bah Bah… ; oh, this is so great. You never get tired singing it alongwith the tune. And the music video released with it which intertwines five different stories together, is amazing. It is quite hard to follow in the first go, but it is so great that you may end up watching it more than required.Castle of Glass by Linkin Park. Nothing is required to describe, its Linkin Park. The lyrics talk about both belonging and futility.'Cause I'm only a crack in this castle of glassHardly anything there for you to see'Letters from the Sky by Civil Twilight. Don't ask, just listen. I've seen a few discussions and every person comes up with a different meaning. That is kinda great. As the quote goes, “No two people have ever read the same book” , I guess the same may be pertinent here.Buzzcut Season by Lorde. Again the music, the tunes, the beats, the lyrics take you to another place. The song kind of suggests finding happiness even during dark times.“But it's so easy in this blueWhere everything is good”Ink by Coldplay. There is a fan cut video to it which has been made official. The song is itself mesmerizing and this video which will make you cold and give you goosebumps, is like icing on the cake. Here is the link :Hope you also love these ! What is your favorite song?

Instagram by Dean.I love this song because it perfectly illustrates how social media serves as a facade for how we really feel. Someone could be posting the happiest pictures in the world on Instagram but secretly be sad and no one would ever know. It also helps that this song has a video that if seen without the lyrics, makes no sense. In the music video, Dean stays in the same exact room for the entire song, where he mostly stays in the center of the room. When you first see him, he comes off as more of a rapper by the way he is dressed. When I first saw this video, I was disappointed and confused with what I was watching, but the more I thought about it, I started to realize how well the video actually portrayed the song. The reason why he was dressed like he was was not because it was a rap song, which it isn’t, but because it is supposed to show the fake facade of Instagram. While he looked like a rapper to most, including me when I first watched it, behind his rapper facade was really just a guy, singing about his frustrations and loneliness. Immediately judging his appearance and putting him into the rapper category was unfair, but it is exactly what the song was about: unfair judgement and hiding emotion. Another part of this song/video that I really love is the pause right before the outro of the song where he stops singing and says the words, “sometimes I feel alone.. like Robinson Crusoe.” I don’t know why I am enamored by this, as I have seen it done in the Blood Sweat and Tears video by BTS (which I loved too). It connects to the song on the loneliness level, but other than that, I’m not sure how Robinson Crusoe has to do with the song. I know that being confused and not sure how parts of a song fit together should be a reason to dislike it, but for some reason that I can’t figure out, it makes me like it more. If you get the chance you should really take a look at it (with subtitles).
