Whats Your Opinions On This Dress

What are your opinions on a black wedding dress?

I'm not getting married anytime soon, but i'm into all the metal music, gothic clothes and such, and i am a christian. anyway, id always want to get married in a church, wearing a black wedding dress, holding a single red rose. My friends were all like "you cant do that not in a church!" i dont see anything wrong with it myself, not as if its satanist, what are your opinions?

Whats your opinion on school dress code?

I recently moved from a school that has a lenient dress code to a school that has a strict dress code. We cant wear anything shorter than 3 inches above the knee, off the shoulder tops, crop tops, ripped jeans, tank tops, backless shirts, slides, and leggings. I'm sure I'm forgetting some other things too. I'm really annoyed because most of the clothes I like is violating dress code.

What’s your opinion of a man who dresses up 24/7 as a woman all day every day with a steady girlfriend who loves him the way he lives as a woman, all including public and privately (and it works for both of them)?

Good for them both. How is this an issue or problem? Two people who are happily living their lives. I wish I was so lucky. You might as well ask, what my thoughts are on a cis married couple(man and woman) who are happy and living together? It’s the same.

What are your honest opinions on this dress for homecomming?

It looks great, not too mature. I would wear a necklace also, don't forget a clutch! And I would suggest a full updo or half updo. Some celebrity looks I love:

What is your opinion on a black wedding dress?

If black flatters you, go for it. But, keep in mind that black is less forgiving of being made in a cheap fabric such as polyester satin than white. Up your budget some and get a dress in a natural fabric such as silk or cotton.

No one is going to think you are a Satanist, so don't worry about that.

No less a fashionista than Sarah Jessica Parker wore a black dress for her wedding.

What is your opinion on the girl who wore a cheongsam dress to prom?

Thanks for the A2A, Audrey Chung!I'm actually Korean, but ya know the old joke… We Asians all look alike!Hardy, har, har!Anyway, Feifei Wang wrote a great answer to this from a Chinese point-of-view, so please allow me to piggyback and post it here:Feifei Wang's answer to What do you think about the girl being accused of cultural appropriation for wearing a Chinese pattern prom dress? Now for my $0.02 if you don't mind... I'm not one to get in a tizzy about “cultural appropriation” and”micro-aggressions.” If you ask me, this teenage girl looks absolutely stunning! For a Korean twist on things, did someone complain when Chloe Grace-Moretz wore the hanbok?Oh hey! Even Britney Spears got in on the action!Nevermind Britney's drama, but both these girls look absolutely gorgeous wearing the Korean hanbok. You go girls!!The point is, Chloe and Britney both wore the hanbok respectfully. There were no riots in Korea or in the Koreatowns because of “culture appropriation.” As if K-Pop and K-Drama weren't enough, Koreans were more than happy to get more international exposure to their culture. I feel the same way.So the teenage girl decided to rock a Chinese dress to her prom and looked good in it! You go girl!!BUT…Did you really have to go and do this??What a buzzkill, girl!OK, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and believe her when she says she “respects all cultures.” This reminds me of the many times people start chit-chatting with me and tell me they love Chinese food. When I tell them I'm Korean, they stop for a moment then continue to tell me they love egg rolls. Folks, this was ignorance. Bowing in that stance was uber ignorance at best. Believe me, I grew up with all kinds of ignorance and doing this can get borderline racist if the intent were there. She seems to be a clueless teenager who is rocking a Chinese dress. My recommendation to her is if she says she truly respects other cultures, she should at least read up on them as well. I sincerely hope this was a teachable moment for her.Well at least I'm glad Britney didn't bad mouth kimchi when she rocked the hanbok… and I'm not going to lose sleep over a teenage girl wearing a Chinese dress either.Cheers! ^^
