Whats Your Point Of View To Have Children In This Bad World

Whats your point of view on the war in Iraq?

I'm sorry you have to be so far from your fiancé. I hope all goes well for you both.
Unfortunately for everyone involved, that region of the world is not better off than it was before we invaded. Every general or other military commander who has been there and come back says the same thing. It is basically a civil war.
Of course the military there is corrupt, it was before we got there too.
There are certain things about people that you can't forcibly change. Like trust for example. If a culture doesn't trust their government to help them when they need it, how are you going to forcibly change that? That is what is behind the corruption. If everyone has grown up with a corrupt government, how can they be forced to believe that now it will be free of corruption? And since people already believe it is corrupt, who is going to be the first to not abuse his or her power?
It will be these peoples children and grandchildren that conspire to bring down the west. Why? Because of what is happening in their country right now at our hand.

Having Children In This World?

I personally don't think its selfish but i do see your point of view... I have 3 children and some times wonder if im doing the right thing and i know that God Loves us and some of us were meant to have kids and no matter what God will have a plan and a purpose for your kids ;o) ...... God Bless<><

If you feel that strongly about it than maybe God has put it in your heart to adopt!

Does God exist whats your point of view?

I believe that god does exist. I don't go to church. I read the bible and I always work Sunday's. And in stead of going to bible study I do bible study at my house. To prove he does exist I am going to tell you about a trip. I was on my way home from Wyoming and I got in an accident.

It all started when I went to pick my kids up from my mothers house. I live in Utah and she lives in Wyoming. We were going to head back the next day but decided to leave that night to miss a snow storm the next day. Well instead of missing it we ran right into it. It was a blizzard and I couldn't see very far in front of me. My first thought on that was "Please God Help us get home safe!" I had My sister and my three youngest and myself in the car and I decided to pull off. We waited on the side of the road at a rest stop for about an hour. Then took off again. We made it to the next town and the snow had seemed to slow down a lot. We kept going until 7:30 in the morning. . It wasn't snowing anymore and the sun was out but the wind was still really cold. We had just passed a semi jackknifed in the middle of the freeway, when We hit a really bad patch of Ice. I lost control of my van and we hit the guard rail, we spun completely around again and smacked the guard rail again. Then slid backwards down the freeway. When we stopped we were back on the right side of the freeway facing oncoming traffic. I started my car and drove it off the freeway to the next rest area. A lot of people say that god doesn't exist but I do. He has been there for me on several occasions. Yeah my van was totaled but my Family was alive and no one was hurt. A trucker helped us call my brother in law and a Tow truck took us to Rocks Springs Wyoming where we met him to take us home. I still have my van. The front is totally messed up and most of it needs to be replace. But I am keeping it to remember how God was there for me and my family. All you have to do is believe and you'll see what he does for you if you don't believe you won't see it you'll walk right past. Oblivious to what he does and how he makes a difference in our lives. I have the pictures on my myspace of my van and what happened. BlueEyes41082@yahoo.com That is my email for my myspace. Take a look if you don't believe me. I am not here to preach just to share thanks for listening.

What's your point of view about drama? Can plays change people's behavior?

Yes, yes they can. There are many examples of behavior or society changing, opening its eyes to the world because of plays. Certainly the example of Victor Hugo’s Hernani comes to mind. The play premiered in the Paris stage in February 1830 and it literally created a riot in the theater as Romantics and Classicists fought about Hugo’s techniques and the manner in which he treated the subject matter. Hugo upset the Neo-Classical traditions writing a play in which the hero doesn't live by the rules of society and broke the rhyming couplet. It may seem odd to us but what he did was actually kind of dangerous. The “rules” of French Neoclassicism were related to artistic and social order. He literally changed social order. There are other examples, such as Waiting For Lefty, by Clifford Odets. This caused a taxi strike, and many people to rethink class and order in the country. Angels in America by Tony Kushner, is an example of a play that opened the world’s eyes to aids, what being gay means and how do people deal with the struggles of death by this disease. It changes a lot of people’s minds and got attention where it needed to go.Drama is important and it doesn’t always have to cause massive social or political change to remain important. There is something about having a shared experience with the rest fo the audience in live performance. More than sitting in a movie theater, the play is affected by the audience reactions, the audiences’ energy. Stop the simple act of bringing strangers together for a shared experience is important to drama and to us as a people.Drama tells us the stories of us, who we are how we progress or grow. Storytelling, in any society, is vital and plays, live theater, is the current way of storytelling at its most basic. It is actor and audience. There is no distance for the screen or editing, it is immediate and it is very important.Even if a drama doesn’t change the masses, it may change an individual and that individual may change the world or just himself. That one change is important. So, yes, drama, comedy, live theater has the power to change,

What's your view on Lenin, his leadership, and his hypocrisy?

I suppose this is back on some people’s minds because we are approaching the centennial of the Russian Revolution. This is actually a good period (100 years later) to try and look at what happened, and the characters involved, with a more objective perspective, rather than: “Lenin was a hero defending the oppressed workers of the world;” versus “Lenin was the Devil himself, a Communist demon who ate babies for breakfast!”Life is full of nuances and contradictions. I do not know a single political leader who cannot be called a hypocrite, from Obama to Trump, from George Washington to Abraham Lincoln, from Justin Trudeau to Emmanuel Macron, or even Angela Merkel. The French Revolution was led to “free the people from oppression,” yet their leaders soon became just as oppressive as the aristocrats and church leaders that had been overthrown. This is because there are deeper forces at work in a society influencing people’s behaviour in politics, at work and at home, in every activity, including religion. These forces are culture value-dimensions, first identified by Geert Hofstede in 1970.In short: both France and Russia are very hierarchical cultures. In such cultures, leaders who abuse power are often overthrown and replaced by revolutionaries who end up acting just as oppressive as their predecessors. You think Lenin was a hypocrite? Compared to Josef Stalin, Lenin was an angel. When you study the Russian Revolution, take a closer look at what Czar Nicholas and his family were doing in the 20 years preceding the revolution: you will see that it’s actually a wonder that it took so long for the revolution to happen. You will also see that it did not happen suddenly, at the spur of a moment: revolt had been building up for years and it was bound to bring down the Czar, sooner or later. When you look at Lenin, don’t make the mistake of judging him as either 100% innocent or 100% guilty: look at the person behind the simplistic character descriptions handed down by the kindergarten teachers of History, who cast historical figures either as the Big Bad Wolf or as the Handsome Prince.

Is it bad for children to be constantly exposed to conflicting view points?

It can be. It may not be. It depends on the age of the child.Very young children need consistency in parenting. They need a common approach from caregivers in order to develop a stable emotional foundation. Very young children are unable to evaluate the various truth claims of ‘conflicting view points’ and they should not be deliberately exposed to battling arguments at that very young age.Once a child has a little basic knowledge of the world, THEN they can be introduced to conflicting ideas. They need to be taught explicitly that there are things about which different people have different ideas, and it is certainly advantageous for them to hear some - SOME - of these types of arguments. But anybody in the world is going to get mentally exhausted being CONSTANTLY exposed to argument and controversy. Give the poor kid a little rest time between for recovery at least.

What's narcissism like from your point of view?

They are people with a limited emotional range and a whole set of underlying issues that will hurt you. Narcissists will never perceive you as their equal. You are to provide them with whatever you have. They are takers, essentially. You don’t matter to them. No, that's a bit incorrect — at first, you are everything, and then you are nothing. You will soar high, but then fall hard. If you get involved with an NPD-afflicted person, there will be a very high price to pay. You will be taken for granted. You will be betrayed. There is no way around it. It does not matter how you will play the game — it is a losing game.Narcissists don't have the ability to love you back, or appreciate your efforts to help them. They lack the ability to emotionally relate to anyone but themselves. They are only focused on what there is to be gained from people, never people themselves. They don't form normal human connections and bonds. You know that saying, ”you are what you eat”?You are what they eat. No more. Do you have feelings for food you had yesterday? Exactly. That's what you will be to a narc when they had enough of you. Yesterday’s food. Yesterday’s news.

What's your point of view towards life?

In my view life is a bundle of interrelated events. This interrelationship is that much complex that life seems as a bundle of random events. But nothing is random here. Actually it is human who shape it every second…micro second…nano second. Every event occurs with a decision.Let’s take an example:Two people are driving on a same road in opposite direction. Road is narrow that only one car can run. Now when both these car come near. Drivers start to think, should I give side to another ? There can be two cases.Case 1: Both decide they will not give side each other and results into an accident.Case 2: One of them decide to give side and they prevent an accident. So it is all about decision, choice. It is there decision to prevent or occur that event of accident.Your life will be shaped by every single decision you take and it is affected by decision of others. Yes it is affected by others.Take one more example:Two student are preparing for a competitive exam. say A and B. Both are intelligent and study sufficiently. One the day of exam, both are going to exam center in different cars. In between one car come from opposite side and its drives decides to not to give side to A and at this point A also decide not to give side and they meet an accident. Now A is in hospital. Whereas this thing does not happen with B and he reach at exam center and take the exam. You know the result and who did affect the life of A? It was decision of driver and A also. When we talk about luck. What is it? Is it not the occurrence of right event at the right time. Conclusion is, life is all about interrelated events which are controlled by decisions. One have to become a good decision maker to decide shape of his/her desired life. Every moment it is you who decide to work hard or not, over-sleep or not, do exercise or not. You are creating your life with your decisions. Change your decisions/habits change your life!!!

Abortion, point of view?

In 1977 I was 18 years old, married with a 3 year old. I had started working for a security company and had a future of travel, intrigue and excitement. My husband and I had been forced to marry because of..yep, the little 3 year old running around calling me mommy. I was at work when I found out I was pregnant and I was devestated. I had used 2 different kinds of birth control, we couldn't afford another baby. I sat on the couch and explained to my then husband that I couldn't "do" another kid in the household, I had a future. Two weeks after that I found myself sitting in the lobby of an abortion clinic, it was amazing, the room was full but no one would meet your eyes. Afterwards, I would forget about it for years, till I heard or saw an abortion debate. It wasn't till just recently at age 47 that I started to think of my son, I knew it was a boy the moment I knew I was pregnant. I thought of him as I sat in a labor room with my daughter praying so hard my heart hurt for the safety of that tiny little boy that was trying to be born. I KNOW women can justify abortions to ease their own minds. You can't afford it, you don't want to bring another life into this over crowded world...or any number of lies you tell yourself. The fact is you are scared, no terrified by the situation. But what if? What if you gave that tiny little boy away to a couple that would raise him? What if you weren't able to put him out of your mind for years? What if he came to your door and asked "Why". That is what I'm praying for because that tiny life of my daughters was handed to such a family and it was at that moment I prayed my hardest for the good Lord above to forgive me for not having the strength to stand up and say "I'm willing to give this tiny little person a chance." Your friend has my deepest sympathies and my most fervent prayers. Because no one else can tell her what is right for her but her. And I wish her well with her decision.
