When An Outcome Is Bad For Women Feminists Want A Law To Even It Out. When An Outcome Is Bad For

Can any feminists enlighten us on why the patriarchy is bad?

...And why we should fear male power? ...without lumping ALL men together and discriminating against us?

Women's Studies programs teach about the "patriarchy" and warn women against patriarchal structures. This blatant sexism is taught as fact to students every year and men get to sit on the sidelines watching women get "loaded up" with all sorts of irrational thoughts about the male gender.

Now, we've all heard feminists speak about how violent men are and that they "start all the wars", but I think we never really see that sentiment for what it is. It's a broad-based and sexist generalization about men.

Why is that OK?

How many people have had female bosses that were as bad or worse than male bosses? Is male power really something to avoid at all costs?

Why are feminists allowed to teach that sort of sexism at our colleges and universities, many of which are taxpayer funded?

Would people be cool if a men's studies taught about the dangers of female power? ...To warn men against "old girl" networks that are trying to keep men down? Would society treat them like sexist psychopaths?

So are there any feminists out there that can explain why we should view male power as inherently negative?

Due to anti-men and women centric laws in India I've stopped acknowledging women in public. If bad guys take this as an advantage to harass women, do the feminists, incompetent lawmakers and uncivilized society take responsibility of the outcome?

All the rules & laws are created after many violations of basic human rights. Why anti-men laws have come into practice, because of the blatant ill treating, harassment, teasing, torturing & abuse of women. In India laws do exist but they are not deterrent enough. You go to Singapore, it is called Low-Crime country. Where notice of theft of a bicycle is put on road.In case a female is harassed, molested or teased, the first thing that is done there is 15 times caning & then there is severe punishment. That is why people enjoy a freedom from criminals. In India, people seek dowry & then torture. Rape & abuse are common enough.I am not sure how many female came forward from India in “ME Too”Have you heard about the goons who are harassing foreigners at Taj Mahal & other places.Have heard about innocent people lynched.Have you heard about politicians taking the country for ransom by destroying the property worth billions because of reservations & Babas.Have you heard about corrupt people who cheated the country roaming Scot-free.These people are making the life of normal people miserable. All these requires heavy punishment and deterrent. Most of the time the innocent don’t have to fear. In case of bad luck, some would definitely suffer.

Is feminism a bad thing?

By no means is feminism a bad thing! Some people see feminism as being equivalent to "female supremacists", meaning that they believe that feminists want women to be above men in society. I don't think that's true in all cases, I know a lot of people who identify as feminists who seek gender equality, not female supremacy. Women and girls are often still treated as objects and are seen as lesser beings in society, maybe not as much in the US anymore, but in other countries, like India, where arranged marriages are commonplace and women are expected to be good housewives, or in China, where millions of babies are aborted once the parents find it's a girl (people who do this don't want girls because they're seen as larger burdens. Also, just to be clear, this isn't an anti-abortion thing, it's just an example of gender-specific abortion, which I think is bad because its based solely on the baby's gender, in this case, female).

And I'm not saying that sexism doesn't exist in America, because it still does. I read once that often, women are hired for jobs because they're pretty and look good behind a desk, not because they're actually good at what they do, which means that well-qualified women are often dismissed because other candidates are more attractive. Additionally, there's the objectification of women in the media (clothing ads, makeup ads, celebrities, diets marketed towards women, etc).

And yes, there can be male feminists, meaning men who also advocate for women to be seen as men's equals rather than lesser beings. For example, in his later life, John Lennon identified as a feminist, writing songs about it and spreading the word with the help of his wife, Yoko Ono, also a feminist. Additionally, I've heard that Ryan Gosling identifies as a feminist. There are plenty of others out there too!

Do feminists fight for equal rights or rights for women?

"Do feminists fight for equal rights or rights for women?"

Well ... they're NOT fighting for equal Rights. Women in the Western world already have equal Rights. That was last centuries battle. Sure .... almost every feminist when asked to define feminism will always give us this First Wave definition of equal Rights/equality, but then they continue on in acceptance with modern day misandric and unequal Third Wave social engineering concepts that have nothing to do with equality.

A feminist is an adherent to the ideology of feminism. ORIGINAL feminism was about gaining legal Rights that were equal to men during a time when this was not the case. That time has long passed.

TODAY, what passes for feminism is ANY difference between the genders, and nothing to do with legal Rights, Opportunities and Freedoms. ALL of which are equally enshrined in law. So in essence, when one is a feminist today, and speaks of gender equality, they are NOT speaking about legal equality. When they speak about a "level playing field", they are NOT speaking about equal opportunities. And when they claim "oppression" they are not speaking about any lack of freedoms.

What they ARE speaking about is the modern feminist social engineering movement that seeks to equalise our biological outcomes; -- for women only--.

Biological outcomes are a genetic lottery. And it's just as "unfair" (if we want to call it that), for short men, fat men, unattractive men, bald men, low status men and so on. Yet we don't have a social engineering movement for these "minority" or victim class men. So why do we have a taxpayer and corporate elite funded international movement to do this for women??

This question must be answered.

In short, there is NO need for modern feminism in our post equal rights first world. Most of their methods run counter to gender harmony. And I haven't even spoken about the long record of prominent feminists who are documented with their man-hating statements. NONE of which have ever been called out by any mainstream feminist group. And most of which are excused even by self-proclaimed feminists ONLY because they both call themselves "feminist". (see the link).

Why do Feminist Defend Pick up artists and Players but hate on MGTOW and MRA ?

Feminists are not defending Pick Up artists. PUAs are mainly horny teenagers thinking they are cool when they say insulting things about women who confusingly don't "put out" enough for their liking. Because they don't like want women who put out much unless it's with them. MRA's and MGTOW have an agenda which is generally anti-feminist. So by definition a feminist would be anti- an anti-feminist, (two negatives make a positive, right?). So just to be clear, feminists laugh at all of them but especially at the PUA's.

What are the negative impacts of feminism?

(What I’m about to say is non-PC; hear me out before you shout me down.)Some people think that women and men are the same. They’re not. Some people think that women should have as many ‘high positions’ as men (e.g. 50% of government or management). They shouldn’t.Now, before your indignation overflows …Women and men are equal, not the same.I support women (and indeed other factions of people) having the same opportunity for education and other advancement.Equal opportunity does not mean equal outcome.I have no problem with women in power; I’ve had female bosses, government leaders etc. No problem IF THEY’RE COMPETENT (actually, I use the same criteria for males). If say 1000 per million(pm) of men and 500 pm of women want to be in parliament or top levels of management, why should there be an outcome of 50% of women in those positions? That is advancing less competent people over those more competent. So, dictating that there should be an equal outcome, results in less competent people in positions of power.*EDIT@2017–09–30* The Green Party of New Zealand will be appointing a female co-leader at its next AGM. Men are excluded from applying. I regard that as a negative impact of feminism. Some say I am wrong in thinking that way.Green Party Co-Leader Metiria Turei resigns as Co-leader “The Green Party will select a new female co-leader at its AGM next year.”
