Do you have to pay extra for steak at Golden Corral?
Well tonight I want to take my family to go eat at Golden Corral. I'm just wondering, if you pay for buffet for everyone are you able to get steak as well without paying extra?
When you go out to eat at Golden Corral what do you leave as a tip?
I so understand how much you work..I worked at a buffet called Barnhill's in Jax, FL and you bust your *** the whole time. I got a party of like 2 adults and 8 kids once...made a huge mess and left me a couple penny's..OMG I was cussing the rest of the night. Yeah I say atleast a dollar a person unless you are there for 2 hours and got special orders or requsted a lot then $2 a person. I think everyone should have to work in the food industry once in their lives just to see how it feels, then people would get tipped better and paid more respect too. Its like that movie, Waiting....he get's a lousy tip and tells the guy to keep it, he obviously needs it more..haha Oh man, thats a good movie for every one to watch, then they wont be so rude to people they dont even know that is handling their food.

So I want to go to Golden Corral with my friend, but i'm not sure how the price charging works. Do you pay ONCE per person to eat at the buffet? Or do you get charged PER plate? Also, are the drink refills free or charged? I've never been to a Golden Corral before (heard good stuff, though). I would call them an find all this stuff out, but it 3:30am where i'm at.

"Menu”? Golden Corral has a menu? I thought you just went to the buffet and took what you wanted, there.And it’s all crap, so what difference does it make? It’s fast food, kept warm, and priced so that you feel like you’re not paying too much, but you can take as much as you want, so it must be super inexpensive for them to buy, so…low quality food.
Do golden corral cooks get paid monthly or bi weekly?
No one would ever pay monthly ... How would people ever pay there bills and buy groceries ? It's either every two weeks or every week!
How much will I realistically get payed working at Golden Corral?
My good friend use to manage a Golden Corral and I can tell you that if you are solely depending on Golden Corral for a decent income, then you are in for a rude awakening. The wages defer on states but most states are going to pay you $2.13 plus tips if you are a server. If you are working the cashier line then you will be paid your state's minimum wage. I know that most servers want to work the cashier line because they don't make diddly for tips since Golden Corral is a buffet and not really a full-service restaurant. It is a good stepping stone into the industry though.
