When Are Americans Going To Say Enough Is Enough

Should America finally say enough is enough and bring the white nationalists to heel by force and forcing reform on the Southern states who breed them?

I think this question is funny and ironic because the states with the most hate groups are not the southern states. According to the Southern Poverty Law Center the top five hate states are:CaliforniaFloridaTexasNew YorkPennsylvaniaOf the five in this list two of them are north-eastern states, the worst offender is California (the supposed progressive dream state) and most southerners hardly count Florida as a southern state therefore only Texas is left. So 1.5 out of five (I count Florida as half a southern state)of the worst hate group states are southern. The other offenders are some of the most “progressive” states in the union. It looks like the progressives need to clean up their own cultural cess pools first. As Jesus said “If your brother has a speck in his eye take the plank out of your own eye first. After getting rid of the plank then take the speck out of his eye.” Get rid of your planks first and then come back and talk to us.Don't believe me read the link and weep. These five states have the most hate groups in the USNote on FloridaMany people who are unfamiliar with Florida will assume it is a southern state… after all it’s right next to Georgia! This is not so. The northern half of Florida called the panhandle is firmly southern culture. As you go farther south into Florida it ironically becomes northern culture. Retired people from the northern states love to move here in their later years to avoid the nasty weather up north. From Orlando south the Florida “snowbirds” make their home and have decidedly given southern Florida northern culture.

What will it take before we as Americans say enough is enough?

It depends on what you mean by that. If you mean non-violent resistance and civil disobedience, some Americans are already doing just that (though I hope that far more government officials and members of congress do that than the present). If you mean violent revolution, however, like in 1776, I really hope that things do not devolve to that point; aside from the fact that civil wars are quite painful and involve a significant amount of murder and death, given the vast difference in power between the military and the rest of the populace in this day and age, the outcome of such a civil war would be decided by the military leadership… one would have to trust that they would stand on the side of the public rather than Trump, a dangerous gamble.

When are we going to to say "Enough is enough", and ban more gun laws?

We already have such a ban. I believe it goes something like this “A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed.”This law has put a MASSIVE brake on gun grabbers for the past 200 years, but their rabid quest to disarm all good people has seen far too many successes. I honestly don’t think a law could be written more clearly than “the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”The only problem with this is that it has no enforcement. The only way to ensure that the law if followed is to add teeth and begin imprisoning all who propose, vote for, and/or enforce laws which blatantly violate our Constitution.

Is $300 enough to spend at the Mall of America?

That is more then enough. You just decide what to spend your money on. I went there and it only cost me $50. It's not like you have to pay to get in ect. You set how much you are going to spend.

When did the Americans assume their identity as Americans? When did they say, enough, I'm not British anymore. I'm American now?

This is a tricky one to answer. I agree with the other posts, that people really didn’t think of themselves as “American” until the Revolutionary War. There are exceptions, but this was generally how it went. On the other hand…The colonies were only a couple of generations old before they saw themselves as Virginians, or New England Calvinists, or Carolingians, or Lord Baltimore’s people. This was not a hard transition. They may still have thought of themselves as British, but they were Virginian/New Englanders/etc. first, then British subjects. The problem is that the colonies hated each other more than they did their brethren in the British Isles. During the English Civil War, Virginia supported the Cavaliers and New England (especially Massachusetts Colony) supported the Roundheads. Depending on how you look at it, they are nearly went to war with each other or actually went to war with each other. And that’s how they saw themselves, as American Cavaliers and Rounheads. It took the heavy-handed, “now you’re going to pay” attitude of the British crown and Parliament to get them to even work together. And even then, there were more loyalists in areas like Pennsylvania and New York City than there were revolutionaries.Eventually the necessities of the Revolutionary War helped them form a confederacy of governments working for a common goal. They even nominally made a government out of it. But they never stopped trusting each other. They may have begun to think of themselves as “American,” but that’s about it. Nowadays we still have people arguing over what that word means. Some of the biggest divisions parallel the Roundhead/Cavalier thing, even as it morphed into the North and the South, and much later, liberal vs. conservative. Add to it the other folk of German and other cultural stock, and the Scots Irish as a distinct Appalachian people, and you get the bloody mess of competing interests we call the USA.

Did Jeb Bush say Americans don't work enough, or did he say Americans aren't getting enough work hours to pay their bills?

Here's the quote:“My aspiration for the country and I believe we can achieve it, is 4  percent growth as far as the eye can see. Which means we have to be a  lot more productive, workforce participation has to rise from its  all-time modern lows. It means that people need to work longer hours  and, through their productivity, gain more income for their families.  That's the only way we're going to get out of this rut that we're in.”Bush was commenting on what the country needs to do in order to grow the economy at a 4 percent rate. To my ear, this sounds like the tired republican trope of "people are just lazy and need to work more". It's vague enough to be deniable that that's what he was saying, which is probably the point. I think he wants republican primary voters to think he's railing against lazy moochers but he wants everyone else to think that he's simply decrying under-employment.Incidentally, worker productivity is not the current problem...it's at very high levels and has been continuously improving for many years. The worker participation rate is rather low right now, but that's largely due to two factors: baby boomer retirement and people who were edged out of the workforce by the recession. The former is relatively benign, but the latter is problematic. The main thing that strikes me about this statement is that it is vague to the point of meaninglessness. How does this impact his economic policy? Everyone likes 4 percent growth, but what policies will he enact to make this happen? The statement that people need to work more is the closest thing to an actionable policy that this quote contains. This is a pretty ignorant thing to say in my opinion. People working longer hours isn't going to solve the issue of a sluggish economy. There are real economic issues to be faced and they're not going to be solved by platitudes like this.

When is enough going to be “enough” with Trump? Have we stooped so low that we can’t get up?

He’ll only collapse when he loses his core supporters, the “38% ers”, he will never lose their support until he does something,or fails to accomplish something pertaining to killing Obamacare, build a wall on the border, cut immigration, deport all illegal immigrants, and bringing the US back to circa 1954.Trump will never resign so, it’s either impeachment or we all take the time to actually register to vote and drag anyone who for some reason doesn’t understand the magnitude of the 2020 election to do so and vote,so the other 62% of us destroy this silliness. We’ll seep deeper before it’s over, unfortunately.

When will Americans turn off the TV set go outside open their eyes and realize their country is being hijacked?

I see so many Americans sending chain e-mails to each other, lamenting what is happening to this country, the grumble to each other in bars, and at work. Yet they watch idly as the capital of Arizona is being marched on by dangerous and violent pro-narco terrorist Aztlan groups, their finances are being strangled and exploited by shady moneylenders, and the Government's policy is being directed by zionist-supremacy groups such as the SPLC and ADL. Meanwhile their children are being taught unhealthy lifestyles in school (reinforced by Hollywierd), and brainwashed that they should hate their parents, and should be ashamed of their race. (assuming they are White, if they are non-white then they get a healthy dose of manufactured "feel-good" propaganda every day.) What will it take for the Average American (who claims "I'm not racist!" a totally suicidal and unnatural response) to stand up and say "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!" ?

When is Mitch McConnell going to "grow a pair" & say "enough is enough"?

Im no pundit or expert but it seems to me that there’s no end in sight. Nobody seems willing to admit they made a mistake in backing this idiot. If the party had the backbone and decency to say this one man does in fact not represent our vision and values for this country they would perhaps regain some credibility. Their silence either shows they're gutless or they're behind him all the way.
