You will have to face the people you went to prom with after the Big Day. It is almost always NOT the last day of school, so don’t create a prank or make a fool of yourself at the prom, because you’ll live to regret it. Get a date, go to the prom, have a wonderful time, and treat the event the way you would wish all the signature days of your youth should be treated. You’ll treasure it in the future.

At what times of day do most high schools in the United States start and end?
It completely depends on where you live. I'm in suburban Georgia, and my (high) school day starts at 7:20 a.m. and ends at 2:10 p.m., though my bus arrives at 6:10. It's pretty early, but most school districts in the area begin their day after 8 am.
Can homeschooled kids go to prom?
For most high schools students not enrolled at that school can go if they are the date of another student enrolled there. Usually they have you sign a code of conduct agreement and you're all set. Call the office at the school and ask if they do this, or have a friend ask the prom committee. Good luck! :)
