ATT phone plan - data usage getting reset on a new contract?
Okay, this is probably a really stupid question and I'm sure I know the answer. I have ATT as a phone service and just signed onto a new contract halfway through the billing cycle. The thing that says my data usage has two different things. The first one is for the phone I just bought and the second one is for the phone I just got rid of. The second one says my limit is at 2,048/2,048 and that it was deactivated. So, my overall question is, did my data limit start over for the billing cycle when I signed onto a new 2 year contract? I'm assuming it did since there's a new data count going for the new phone but I just want to double check. Thank you!
MY DATA USAGE WONT RESET!?
So my dad had gotten himself a new iphone 5 (stupid), but he gave me his awesome samsung galaxy s3 (My first smartphone). Anyways, simce i have gotten the phone, i have been using the 4g, which was fine. Then after about two weeks of using up the 4g, i finished off my 2 gigabytes that i had. My dad had paid the phone bill before i had finished. However, my data usage never had reset. I got so mad. So i looked up how to make my usage restart. Ive tried turning off my phone and turning it back on, which didnt work. Then i tried resetting my entire phone, and formatting everything, back to factory settings, which didnt work either. Then i tried rooting my phone, which worked fine, and then i tried deleting the files that were for the data and usage, and that didnt even work. Now i dont know what to do. All i can do now is call people and text, i cant get apps or use internet. Im worried, because my dad had paid my bill, and it didnt reset, im scared, please help. And i need 4g, because i have to do important stuff for school.
When does my data plan reset?
It usually resets whenever you started the plan, also if you make a MyVerizon account it will tell you when each "cycle" ends, which is when you get another 2GB for the month. Also to help monitor your data usage I would suggest using My DataManager, look it up on the App Store, Hope I helped :)
At&t Data Questions?
So i upgraded to At&t Next with 3gb Mobile Share and this month At&t announced they will have rollover data. My question are, does my data reset every month to 3gb? How many gb will i gain in rollover if i only used 200mb? If i use data and go over 3gb, what will happen? Thanks.

I received a txt msg yesterday saying that I have used 90% of data of my data plan.i would like to know when it will reset so I will not be charged.
