Why do some movies come out on Wednesday when most come out on Friday?
Traditionally, movies are released on Fridays because it being the last working day and the weekend holidays that follow. Logically, it makes sense since this is when most people will visit cinema halls.The idea of releasing a movie on Wednesday or any other day for that matter is to make the most of a public holiday that falls on such days. Since, movies rely heavily on the first weekend/first few days of the release, it does make sense sometimes to try and get as many days as possible for the opening window of release.
Something special to do on july 23 (one direction)?
OMGzers another Directioner!!!!!!!! ahhhh well July 23 is my birthday but I'm having my mom dedicate my cake to 1D!!!!! its gonna be a carrot cake(get it??) with red frosting and stuff and the 1D logo well u probably dont care... anyways, wear as much 1D stuff as possible!!!!!! blast their songs as loud as possible......it might be late to organize it but a flash mob would be awesome!!!!! just celebrate by walking around the streets singing one direction, chasing after kevins, and chucking carrots and spoons at people who tell you to shut up.......and if someone does something against one direction say "NO Jimmy protested!" and tell people to get out of your kitchen. finish the night by watching the 1D dvd movie 5 times and also get some 1D magazines with posters and decorate your room!!!!! Or go to the mall with a bunch of friends who are directioners and randomly burst out into happy birthday for one direction!!!!!! trend something on twitter!!!!! if you do that it should be a fantastic day!!!! oh and eat everything you want that day in honor of niall horan and if you happen to live by one of the like 6 freaking nandos in all of america than go to it!!!!! (ps i went to one on vacation and they let me keep the menu!!!) and then to honor liam clean up the mess you made doing all of this crazy stuff cuz liams responsible like that hahah and then post a thing on twitter or facebook or whatever about how they have changed ur life and how theyre so inspiring

What types of privacy window film work at night when lights are on in the room?
I'm assuming you want a window that you can see through during the day, but can give you privacy at night, even with the lights on. This is one of the most common customer requests. Unfortunately, there is no passive film (by passive I mean one that works by just being there) that is transparent during the day and at the same time blocks the view from the outside at night when you have the light on inside.All glass in windows reflect a certain amount of light, the percentage depends on the specification. Usually, the higher the efficiency of the window, the more light it reflects. During a very bright day, a passerby would probably not be able to see through a high efficiency window into your home, this is because the amount of light being reflected, is greater than the amount of light coming out of your house. The same principle applies at night when you are inside your home. If you try to look through your window at night in a brightly lit room, you would probably see your own reflection, because amount of light being reflected is greater than the amount of light coming from the outside, furthermore, since a window only reflects a percentage of visible light, the light that is not being reflected is going through the window and into the dark street, this of course would enable any passerby to see through your window.There are active film options and one of them is called electrochromic glass, which changes from transparent to translucent when you apply an electrical current to it. The user can manually control the transparency through the use of electricity.
If the earth is rotating at a high speed and we jump up, why doesn't the earth move below us at high speed?
Since other answers have correctly mentioned the atmosphere and such, let's take it out of the equation for the sake of argument and see what happens.In terms of the difference in the helicopter's path vs. the ground, let's look at what happens during one whole day as the Earth rotates. Assuming the helicopter can perform an ideal, vertical-acceleration-only hover, then the surface of the Earth and the helicopter have the same tangential speed as the Earth turns, due to conservation of momentum. But, since the helicopter is now a few feet (~1 meter) above the ground, the path the helicopter takes to go around the Earth during one day is now slightly longer as compared to the surface itself. The added circumference of that trip all the way around the Earth for the helicopter turns out be just 2 times Pi times the height above the ground. It takes the Earth just under 24 hours to rotate once on its axis, so the helicopter would have to move at an additional horizontal speed of maybe 18 feet (~5.5 meters) per 24 hours, or something like 0.00014 miles per hour (~0.00022 km/h) to stay directly over the same spot on the ground. This is such a negligible difference in horizontal speed that you don't notice it in any practical system.A real helicopter would deviate horizontally by a speed that is orders of magnitude more than that when it takes off anyway. And, of course, helicopters fly in the atmosphere, which is coupled to the ground. It's also fair to say that wind speed dominates any effects from conservation of momentum, as it's orders of magnitude larger, even at high altitudes. So, real aircraft worry about the difference in wind speed and direction vs. the ground, rather than orbital mechanics.
