Weight Loss is usually easier in the beginning and gets harder over time. Does CLA help you lose weight?

I welcome the question because I’ve taken a long look at this. I have weight issues myself and would like to lose a few pounds in 2018 if possible!I listened to one person and at first CLA sounded like an effective antidote that might just help me out and make things easy but, when I listen to somebody else they say it’s in effective, won’t work for me and I’m wasting my money. It all depends who you talk to or listen to.But after watching this video by Tarun Gill, I came to a very obvious conclusion based on something he said, listen to him, it’s interesting!The conclusion I came to is this. The bio-chemistry of everyone of us is as individual as our finger prints, right?So of course, what works for one person does not necessarily work for another. Startling results for you does not guarantee amazing results for me, your bio chemistry was receptive and gave it a thumbs up, mine turned up it’s nose and gave it a thumbs down…Is this not the answer to the some say yes and some say no it does not work debate? I have to draw the very obvious conclusion that there is no supplement out there that will work en masse for everybody!In fact our own unique body chemistry eliminates the possibility of a one size fits all supplement entirely.In the end we simply have to try it out for ourselves and depending on the results we either stick or we move on and find something that impacts our own body chemistry in a positive way and bring about the desired results.If I do try out CLA it will be in concert with taking some regular old fashion exercise!!My insight is hardly revolutionary or world shaking, but in a sense it’s nice to be reminded just how unique as individuals we actually are!Cheers!IQ Tests - The Truth

How long did it take you to see visible changes during weight loss journey?

It all depends on (1) how regular you are at workouts (2) your clean eating habits (3) your healthy lifestyle (4) how many hours do you sleep (5) no intake of refined carbohydrates, sugar and much salt (6) how much water you drink daily.Now, this being said, please concentrate on total body fat loss than spot reduction. SR is temporary and does not stay that way in the long run.Clear your mind. Don't always think, "My belly is not reducing; how can I do it?" This constant thought will have psychological effect on you and you won't be able to reduce more than the initial 2-3 kgs.If you are a mesomorph, weight loss will happen faster than if you are an endomorph. Endomorph really take time to lose weight and have difficulty in maintaining that weight.Please concentrate more on FAT LOSS. The main culprit is FAT (subcutaneous and visceral). Fat sticks to your body as if it does not want to leave you.Do you know swimming? Best would be if you strength train daily morning with 2 days of light cardio (after ST) and swim in the evening.Remember "it is all in the mind" and don't worry. Keep working out hard and you will get a result in 3 months.

How can I lose weight? I’m a 15 year old female who’s 5’1 and I weigh around 118 lbs.

Hi 5’7” 135 lbs waterpolo player here. First of all you are not overweight. But if you desire to become more fit, you need to either go to the gym or play a sport and eat a healthy diet. If you are 15 you are still in high school. Join swim, track, cross country, etc. Playing stamina and cardio based sports can help to build muscle. You don’t want to focus on losing weight, focus on building muscle. The two often go hand in hand. If you notice you are gaining weight when you work out one of 2 things is happening: you are building muscle or you are gaining sugar/ bad fat. It should be the former. Now to diet, you should eat lean protein, leafy greens, fruit, and good carbs. Some examples of lean protein are chicken, fish, and even nuts (not too many because nuts have fat). Leafy greens like kale, spinach, and broccoli are great. Fruits like apples, bananas, and strawberries are good as long as they are eaten in moderation. Good carbs are whole grain pastas, breads, and crackers. Whole grain bread is a great alternative to white bread. My point is exercise combined with a healthy diet leads to a healthy body. If you aren’t happy with the way you are do something about it. Don’t do one of those ridiculous “weight loss diets” advertised online. They don’t usually work and it doesn’t help your body image.

I’ve been that guy.The one person, for whatever reason, can’t put weight on to save his life.Welcome to the world of ectomorphs.Ectomorphs have smaller frames and lightning quick metabolisms. You could scarf down a few cheeseburgers a week and where most people would get fat, you’d stay skinny.How come? Simply put, your metabolisms on crack. You can think of the human body like a machine. It’s hard at work, performing the processes that need to get done in order for you to function day to day. Some peoples bodies work hard. Your body puts in overtime. Your energy expenditure is much higher than the average person. That just means while at rest, you burn more calories faster than most. The rate at which you burn calories at rest is called Basal Metabolic Rate or BMR.“How do I get better?”Switch to a 4 or 5 day splitLimit your workouts to 1hr 15min tops. Better for high testosterone and low cortisol levels.Lift heavy in the 6–8 rep range. 75–85% of 1RPM for best resultsLift mostly compound exercises with free weightsEat 3–4 large meals a day instead. You’ll stress less. Plus, having the same amount of food spread out across 6 meals makes no difference. It’s still the same carbs, proteins, fats and calories going in. Absorbtion is the same as well.Supplement with meal replacement bars or shakes if you feel like your’re force feeding yourself.If your not growing then your not eating more calories than you burn. Surplus of calories is required to build mass.Enjoy the process man. Your an ectomorph, you can get away with cheating more on your diet.
