How do I fix a phone not booting after flashing a custom ROM?

Try flashing the ROM again.Make sure you are doing a clean flash.Always wipe system, data, cache and dalvik cache before flashing. This is very important.Dirty flashing often results in bootloop. If it still results in bootloop after a clean flash, then your firmware might be corrupted.Try flashing again using another zip package.Lastly, if you wish to return back to stock, you can either restore the Nandroid backup (if you have made one) or flash stock ROM.

If I root my Android and then unroot it will the warranty be voided?

Thanks for A2A.If you unlock the bootloader you will void your warranty, if you flash your phone you "could" void your warranty, if you root your phone without unlocking the bootloader and without flashing there shouldn't be an issue as you can unroot your phone and the root access should be gone - your warranty is back! Also, as far as I concern, they(service center) don't have enough time to check for every single device if it was rooted once or not(specially if there is an hardware issue). I was having a rooted device and there was a problem related to display, they simply replaced my device with the new one and didn't check if it was rooted :)Hope this helped!

I am unable to write files to my USB OTG pen drive using my smartphone . What is the problem?

Sorry to hear this problem. Try the following,1. Go to settings>storage>unmount OTG, then mount the pen drive again. Now open file manager and try using pendrive.Follow the below steps too,1. Connect the flash drive with OTG cable to the phone2. Go to settings -> storage.3. Click Mount SD card under "USB Storage"Also note the fact that, normally this is related to the drive being formatted in a file system that is not compatible with Android. Android appears to only like FAT32 while most USB drives are formatted with exFAT or NTFS. If your device is Rooted you can use Chainfire's Stick Mount from the Play Store which can access the device with virtually any format.Otherwise, you will need to find a way to format it with FAT32. I had a 64GB dual USB OTG drive that would not work correctly until I was able to format in using (removed) to FAT32. Of course you will need access to a Rooted device to do this.Hope you understand the problem and fix it :)

How do I fix Error 7 in TWRP?

I don't think I've experienced this error before, but a guy on xda gives a reasonable explanation for ClockworkMod. I think CWM and TWRP mostly use the same error codes, but I'm not sure. Basically, that can happen when a) your system partition is messed up, or b) the ROM is supposed to be for a different phone. If your phone isn't bootable at the moment, I suggest wiping /system. This will nuke any OS you have on there, but it doesn't matter if it won't boot. After doing that, try installing Cyanogen Mod. If it still boots, I think the second issue is more likely.Every flashable zip has code in it that tells it what to install, among other things…such as what device it's for. If the package knows it's for a different device, it won't install (giving you error 7). In my experience, it usually gives you more info than just “error 7.” Something along the lines of “package is for hammerhead, device is bacon. INSTALLATION ABORTED" if I remember correctly. To fix this, you can take apart the package and change the device it's for. However, be absolutely sure you have the right package for your device. I flashed a slight regional variation on the wrong phone last week. Exact same hardware as far as I can tell, but different model codes. It booted, but the touchscreen didn't work. One small discrepancy could brick your device. If you wish to continue, see below. They put it better than I could.[FIX][SOLVED]Status 7 Error with CWM or TWRP Recovery on Rooted Android!Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck to you!
