When I Go To My E-mail Account I Cannot Use Any Of The Functions. I Seems As Though My E Mail Is

Cannot access my email account stuck on upgrade browser page!!?

called 1-800 730 2669, Yahoo Customer Care. waited 45 minutes to speak to a YCC rep. she suggested I try a different browser. still no luck. she said she'd email me (ha!) other steps to take. they've not arrived to my smart phone email. then checked on-line options, and once again, through answers.yahoo, it was suggested unchecking "enable plug-ins". did so. restarted computer. nada. same problem exists. canNOT access EMAIL because I cannot get beyond the "Yahoo Suggests You Upgrade Your Browser Message". All of the links are dead as doornails. So maybe it is time to get a new laptop. And maybe it's time to go to Gmail. See Ya-later Yahoo.

How do I get my Instagram account if I forgot my email, phone number, password?

If you can prove that the concept of perfection is selfcontradictory, you can prove that it does not make sense to say of anyone that they are perfect.Let us take as the definition of perfect: an object A is perfect if there is no conceivable object B which, if it were to exist, would be better than A. Note that this requires a metric of betterness. For our purposes, any consistent metric will do. We shall call it the B function. We require B to be such that if B(X) > B(Y), and B(Y) > B(Z), then B(X) > B(Z).Let us assume that person X is perfect. In other words, it is categorically not possible that there is another person Y, such that B(Y) > B(X). This is trivially true if everybody has the same value of B. Then everybody is perfect, just the way they are. So the first thing you should ask of anybody who calls you imperfect is “What gives you the right to determine a metric of betterness which discriminates against me?” Anybody who claims that right is either perfect, or - much more likely - seriously disturbed. But suppose there is a metric B which you and your accuser agree. (Note that it is no accident that the devil’s chief function is that of accuser). Then it is evident that there is an upper limit to B, say U. Then B(X) = U. This means that X never makes mistakes, ever. Because otherwise we could conceive of some Y just like X, making one less mistake and therefore being better than X. However, you can’t learn without making mistakes. Y might be better today, but less adaptable to the future, by virtue of having learned less. If you take the future into account, X is better. You cannot define a metric of betterness which at the same time is 100% concerned with the current situation and 100% concerned with the future. People who are overly concerned with perfection are blind to the future.

I can’t access my LinkedIn account. I used my company email, and I am no longer in that company. How can I access my LinkedIn account?

3 options. If you still remember the password, just log in and add a new email address which you use as a primary contact address. Just don’t delete the old address, you are still found with that approx. 2 years after it shuts down as a functioning address. And, most people don’t really change country, industry or job function when they change jobs, so having your old clients, subcontractors, etc. find you with that old email address can be very beneficial for you!!!If you’ve forgot your password and the account is tied into an old email address you don’t have access to, you can just contact Linkedin support and ask them to open the account. They most often ask you to send a copy of your passport to prove you’re the right person. And, you can of course open an new account, and then ask Linkedin to merge the accounts, they do that nowadays, unlike a couple of years back.

I cannot access my yahoo email?

Recently, Yahoo has made it more difficult to return to Classic - they have killed off some of the old links and removed the 'Switch to Yahoo mail classic' button from the new version.

Here's how to go back to CLASSIC:

This is a brand-new link that should work for quite a while...

http://us.mc1634.mail.yahoo.com/mc/launc...
(copy and paste it to your Desktop, or anywhere else, if you prefer)

Evidently, they are still making updates to Classic Mail (Messenger is now gone, for example), and eventually the older links stop working. (Older links found on the web have a different number after the .mc)

Before you can use the new link, you will need to temporarily change your Internet Options settings:

Go to Control Panel > click Network and Internet > click Internet Options > click Security tab > click Custom Level box (near bottom) - a new dialog box will open > scroll down the list of options to Scripting (near the bottom) > right under Scripting is Active Scripting, click Disable > click OK > click Yes in the 'Are you sure' pop-up box > (pop-up and dialog box will close) > do not click OK or Cancel or close the Internet Properties box yet...

Next, go to your Desktop (or wherever you saved your link) and click your new shortcut to http://us.mc1634.mail.yahoo.com/mc/launc...

Then, change the settings back (you need to have scripting enabled for Yahoo Mail Classic and many other websites to fully function):
Go back to the Internet Properties box (on your Taskbar) and click the Custom Level box > scroll down to Scripting > click Enable under Active Scripting > click OK > click Yes in the 'Are you sure' pop-up box > now click OK to close the Internet Properties box.

PLEASE NOTE that you will only have to change your settings ONCE - the link will work fine after you do this once!

I hope this helps all of you who, like myself, CAN'T STAND THE NEW INTERFACE!
LONG LIVE CLASSIC!

Major problem: email search function not working properly?

I am an Yahoo mail account holder for over 10 years. My address ends with @yahoo.com
The search function of Yahoo mail has gone down hill in a big way recently for my account. I used to be able to type in a word or name and out come all the search result (emails) containing the word or name that I typed in.
Now, unless those words are in the emails received or sent during the last two weeks or so, absolutely no result is returned. Went to the advanced search function and select the search criteria and still the same.
Please help! This is urgent and really important as I have lots of emails in the account.
I have tried to contact Yahoo Help via "Contact Us" and filled in the form. They never address my question and just keep sending out the automatically generated response.
Interestingly, I have another Yahoo address that I rarely use and that one is fine with the search function. Its address ends with yahoo.com.au
BTW do you think upgrading to Yahoo Mail Plus might solve it?

Can we have two Gmail accounts with same email id?

A2ACan we have two Gmail accounts with same email id?This has been answered correctly, many times. But an incorrect answer is showing, so I suppose it does no harm to answer again here.No. Two accounts with a single ID is not possible. Each Gmail ID is unique, tied to it’s own account, and cannot be duplicated. Worse, if the account is deleted, it cannot be recreated. As Parameswaran already covered, the reverse is quite possible. You can use many variations and aliases of your unique ID, that are actually all the same account. For instance, Gmail ignores dots. So homersimpson@gmail.com is actually identical to h.o.m.e.r.s.i.m.p.s.o.n@gmail.com, and any other variation. The dots (or lack of them) don’t matter at all - but you can use them as you wish. Also, + aliases can be used to sort and filter.Send emails from a different address or aliasStep 1: Choose aliasesThink of how you want to sort your email, then choose an alias for each category. For example:Use yourname+work@Gmail for work emails.Use yourname+news@Gmail to sign up for newsletters.Use yourname+shopping@Gmail to create an account with an online retailer.Step 2: Filter your messagesCreate filters to take automatic actions, like:Adding a label or a starForwarding to another accountArchiving or deleting

How does one change their Google account's primary email address? It seems to be an issue. Are there any clues or workarounds?

When you create your Google Account, your username is the full email address you used to create your account. This means you’ll have to change or delete the email address linked to your account if you want to change your username. If you use GmailIf you use Gmail with your Google Account, it's not currently possible to change your Gmail username after you've registered. You can, however, delete Gmail from your account and use a different, non-Gmail address for your Google Account. You can also create another Google Account with a different Gmail username. If you use another email serviceIf you don't use Gmail with your Google Account, you can change your account username to another email address at any time.More details at Change your username and Email addresses associated with your account
