What is the difference between Yahoo Mail and messenger, when I sign into one am I in the other?
I keep getting messages saying that I have been signed out because I have signed in on another computer or something like that when I might have signed in in messenger and Yahoo has asked me to sign into Yahoo-Mail or My Yahoo. I am so confused but I tend to do what I have to do anyway. Is it possible that sometimes help is no help because I am in the wrong program and I didn't know it? This is a problem if integration of Mail & Messenger. I cannot select both for a suggested category or when I browse the categories.
Is there any possible way to recover a lost Yahoo! Mail draft?
Not that I know of.The thing to figure out is why is it lost? Was it deleted? Was it sent? Was it moved by accident? Did it just disappear from your ‘drafts’ folder?If you are worried about it happening again, you can always compose a message to yourself, that way, if you accidentally hit send, there will be one in your inbox, and one in your sent (if you have turned on the feature to keep sent messages). You can then pick up the message from either place, and forward it to the person you really wish to send it to.
Keep getting spam messages on Yahoo messenger no matter what I do. How do you stop it?
Do you have the Yahoo toolbar? Get rid of it. In the software options there may be a checkmark for third party emails,etc. uncheck that. Clicking the spam button works also. Change your user id until you get spam and then switch again is the best way to do it. And don't go for free offers, that is where majority of spam is coming from.

We've found this problem on Conferences as well using Messenger. It seems to happen without warning, even though the members of the conference are using the latest build of Messenger. This just started happening a couple of weeks ago, where they get logged out without notice, and nobody in the conference gets a notice that the person is no longer online. We have to "reinvite" them back into the conference. In our group of 4 members, 3 of them have been booted in this way. I am the only one who hasn't been booted, and I wonder if maybe it's because I initiate the conferences. Yahoo!, what is up with this?

I don't know my recovery email. I need to recover my Yahoo mail. What should I do?
If you have provided a mobile number then you will get a password on it. If you have not given any alternative email or password then also there is third way of recovering your password by answering your security question. While attmpting to login don't try a new system. In such cases where you don't even remember password login from a new IP address makes the server suspicious and may turn down your request taking you as fraudster. Therefore use your regular device (smartphone/laptop/desktop) which you always use for accessing your yahoo email to login. More than this I can't tell as I myself have gmail id. Whatever options I told just now are the normal options given by all service providers for email recovery
Why does my messenger program close on its own?

(Or vice versa) You must sign out of one to access the other one. Be sure to sign out completely, go offline or exit the one program. Clicking the red X only minimizes the program, but you are still signed in. For the web page version, click the red X to sign out of the web page. For the mobile phone version, sign out. For the full, downloaded version, right-click the icon down in the system tray and select Exit at the bottom of the menu. (or Sign Out) For the Classic Mail version, click under 'Chat and Mobile Text' AVAILABLE to ... I am OFFLINE. For the 'All-New' Mail version, use the drop-down arrow beside "Hi, name". Sign out. For Beta Mail, click 'Hello' beside your name, then select 'Sign out' It's best to keep signed OUT in Mail until ready to chat to avoid this message, especially if you have two mail accounts. I want my old yahoo messenger back,there is no toolbar on top of this on and it's to small, can't make it big?
my messenger has changed, no toolbar on top no way to minamize it or anything like that and when i sign in it closes cause it says i am already signed into another yahoo messenger, witch i am not, i only have 1 computer, and i can not get a real answer on who i had put down for my childhood hreo, and i do not what to play a game to find out, so please help me, and can i delete the yahoo 8 that is still on here, since i downloaded to 9? thank you
