You risk being banned if you mod your game, even if you only play the game offline.So, a better question, are the mods worth the risk?Getting caught depends on the DRM and how the publisher/developer tracks mods. My Xbox 360 won't play GTA IV. All other games and DVDs work. What can I do?
From what i read on cheat code central, Rockstar is supposed to be putting out a update/patch for the game. I found this in the news section. Also I'm not sure when it will, but supposedly some time this week. And so far im on my second copy, the first one stopped working at "The Master and the Molotov" so I returned it and the guy at Gmestop said it was scratched that's why, so he gave me a new disk. Later I went home and tried the new disk, it did that mission, then stopped. So I looked at the disk and sure enough about a centimeter scratch which should not cause any error messages to pop up.
How do I change the language in a game from Russian to English especially if the language as a value does not exist in the game subkey in Regedit?
Well every game has a different model for this so coming up with a universal solution is tough. Though all games read the language data from the registry. This trick here should change a program's default language right inside the registry so it should work with the most of the games. Follow the steps: Start > Run > regedit Find Folder named HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software > WOW64Node (something) Now you have to look for your game here {It will be easy if your lucky} Find entry name "Language" (duh!) and change it to "English" and "Local" to "EN" (it will be RU if the game is currently in Russian). This works with all the games I've played but I don't play that much I can be wrong. Cheers :)
