For this reason, any computer user that uses a primary email account for business and/or personal reasons that they do not want spammed should never give out this address unless it is clearly stated in a website or organizations privacy policy that it will be kept confidential. Typically, seasoned web users have at least two email addresses. One is used for personal and business that is never given out and remains free of spam messages, and the other is the address that is used openly for casual use that may get spam email but can be closed and another opened in it's place. So the answer to your question is that you get spam from sneaky companies that want to make money with your email address. You prevent it by not giving out your primary email address. If your primary is now infested with spam mail, try opening another email account and from the lessons you now know, it should stay clear of any unwanted email messages.
Why are soldiers not allowed to tell their families where they're deployed?
I have a feeling if I were sitting in his class, I would be able to pick his story apart pretty quickly. My family knew where I was deploying, when I was deploying, etc. Given, we are not supposed to push this information publicly, but we are allowed to tell our families. Once deployed, it was a matter of just not boradcasting troop movements or anything which may compromise the mission. My family knew where I was, unless I was outside the wire, and got to hear stories about my deployment. I can tell anyone I want about the majority of my deployment, where I was, when I was there, etc. without issue. There are obviously some things that I leave out because of OPSEC, but that is really not exciting stuff to talk about anyway. If you look at the number of veterans in the US, you will see groups of people who are always talking about when and where they deployed, and what they did. Some may not like to talk about the things that bother them. Usually someone saying they were some sort of special operations guru or that they can't tell you is full of it. There are some out there who can't talk about some of the stuff that they do, but that is a very, very small population. 10:1 odds your professor is lying.

My brother cleared JEE Advanced last year and he's now studying in IITK.I got 178 marks last year in JEE mains and got 166 in JEE Advanced but I didn't got admission anywhere.When I decided to drop this year I thought I would easily get under 1000 rank. I joined distance course of resonance. It was going well first few months but after that I felt lonely. And I started to feet scared every time I thought about JEE exam.I started to get more and more scared and finally I was depressed. Scared even to touch books.I had so many fights with my family about my studies especially my father. I was so convinced to end this painful life. It looked so easy. Just few minutes of pain but endless peace after that.The girl I used to love also hated me so there wasn't any reason for me to live.Then I started thinking about meaning of life but couldn't find anything good. Suddenly I realised that how big the universe is and how insignificant our lives are. I decided that my life is my own and I'm not going to waste my life listening to what others want me to do.So I stopped things that make sad or scares me and started doing things that make me happy.I stopped studying for exams and played guitar, painted, played cricket all the year.Now I'm ready to face anything life throws at me because my life is my own and I don't care about anything. And I know I can live it my way. The worst scenario would be that I may not have anything or I may become beggar but that would be OK. I can live with that.
