When I Wake Up My Bones Ache

My bones hurt when I wake up.?

I'm 13 years old and when I wake up in the morning my bones really hurt and ache and stuff, And sometimes when I take a nap and I wake up they hurt even more for about 3 - 5 hours after I wake up and my eyes are like really tired and i'm really cold. Is that normal? I weigh about 130 pounds around there somewhere 125 - 135. I took a nap about 2 hours ago and my bones hurt really bad. And no matter what I do the pain doesn't stop.

Why do our bodies ache after sleep?

Body ache is a side effect of prolonged sleep.Lack of physical activity, a poor diet, being overweight, improper sleep and environments that are cold and damp are the major causes of morning body pain.Exercise - Lack of daily exercise prevents your body from releasing good endophins and your blood doesn’t move as well leaving toxins in your system.Diet - Weak muscles are a result of a poor diet high in simple carbohydrates. It also contributes to bad posture and lethargy. Being overweight puts strain on your joints, muscles, tendons and ligaments.Sleep - Sleeping posture can put your body in a bad position for hours. Being in a bad position causes a reduced blood flow to your muscles and a buildup of lactic acid causing stiffness.Environment - If your environment, whether work or home, is cold or damp, it can cause your muscles to stiffen. Cold and damp have a direct effect on the way blood flows throughout your body.

I'm 16 and my bones ache!?

Hey,

I'm a 16 year old girl, I'm not anorexic but I am 8kgs underweight for my age and height. Recently my bones, especially my shoulders and upper arms have been aching. At first I thought it was growing pains but it seems to be getting worse and in my legs too.

If I'm lying in bed and the blanket isn't covering my shoulder I'll wake up about an hour later and my whole shoulder and arm will be in agony so I have to pull it up over my shoulder and to my neck, then after about half an hour so I've warmed up it subsides.

I'm not really 'worried' per say, but I am a little over being in pain almost all of the time.

If anyone has the same thing or even knows anything about it or how to treat it I would be so appreciative of any information you can give me. I have tried panadol, neurofen, ibuprofen and nothing works.

Thank you again.
xx

My collar bone hurts when I awake in the morning. what's wrong?

Hey :)

i used to have the same problem, and i believe the culprint was my pillow or the way i positioned myself when sleeping. when you go to sleep try repositioning your body for a couple of days so you can see if its the way your sleeping giving your collar bone a relaxed position try just sleeping flat on your back. if it still seems to hurt worst case scenario it might be a hairline fracture and you should go see your doctor.

- Good luck

Can your bones start aching while its raining?

I don't know if it's my bones, but if I wake up and my legs are suffering from a dull ache that seems to come from behind my shins, I pretty much know it's damp outside.Ive had this pain throughout my life from my youngest memories of about 3 to my present ago of 49. I don't what causes it, the Doctors don't know and that's as far as I've got. When it's a damp day I take paracetamol (on top of my normal meds for my chronic back pain) and the pain subsides. But after roughly 6 hours it starts to creep back in. So I take more Paracetamol and then again another 6 hours after that.I have no idea what causes it. I did once find a website that other similar people had started up who had the same symptom, but no one had any news on what caused it. Ive had it that long now, I've given up trying to find a cure. So, yes my bones can start to ache when it's raining, but I often know before it rains that rain is coming.
