My friend lied to me about her age?
A good friend lied to me about her age. I've known her for about a year and we instantly became close. She said she was 6 years older than me, which didn't bother me- she could have been 20 years older than me and I wouldn't have cared. So today she told me how long she had been married, which couldn't be possible if she was the age she told me. So I caught her in the lie, and she has to be at least an additional 10 years older than she first told me. I just feel so hurt, why would she lie to me, she knows I don't care about age! Am I overreacting? Would that bother you too?
