Why isn't Google Chrome playing YouTube videos?
Because Google Chrome is tired of playing videos. Give it some time to breath. :P Just kidding.. I know that was lame. Anyway, it may not be playing videos because of the following reasons:Brower not updated - running an older version of browser that doesn't support flash and html5Adobe flash not installed or updatedBrowser settings has flash and java disabledInternet connection is too slow to load the videos (less likely a scenario, as you somehow managed to post on Quora using the same internet I assume)Graphic driver has crashed (offline videos will also not play, if this happened)So, try to figure out and let me know what the reason was. Also, send a screenshot if problem persists.

Sounds More Like An Internet Speed Issue, slower connections cause buffering to occur or maybe you might have to update your flash player....hope this helps
Why can't I save YouTube videos offline anymore in the iPhone/iPad?
Did you recently update the YouTube app? I never knew that you could save your videos in that way.There are two reasons why it won't work correctly:1. A recent update is preventing/removed the ability to watch videos offline.2. A setting was changed within the game or the app that is preventing you from watching videos offline.

This always been the case, except for rare occasions. I like Zuke 696 especially (Now my Google spell check won't work!!!) As I say, Zuke will not work at all. I am running internet explorer, until yesterday when, on the advise of some one here on YA, I switched over to Opera for this very problem. It did not help so I went back to IE. It appears to have made things worse. My machine is very unstable. The cursor tends to jitter and stop. I have to shake it to get it going again. I have a new mouse. I shut the machine down a few weeks ago and restored it completely. It ran well for a few days and became unstable again. I run, Professional, Superantispyware, Mal ware Malware bites. Also Reg guard. The first two usually say I have no problems, except a few days ago, malwarebites found and disabled a Trojan. Reg guard finds and kills several problems every time I run it. What can I do? Is my year old PC to blame? I don't cruise Porno sites. I like science and music. Help, Please, I need my computer every day. Thank's in advance, Elkcreek

Hey, this is extremely unfortunate that the video is unable to stream offline for you. There is possibly only one cause for this to happen and that is the video wasn't downloaded completely. Yes, the blue tick appears but a broken link would cause the video to not stream as you're experiencing. My suggestion to overcome this issue would be as follows. Go to settings>> Apps>> Youtube>>Clear App data. As its here were the broken video is stored. After the above step you can retry to download the content for offline purposes. If the matter continues to occur than please report to the owner of the video and also please try and download over WiFi as cellular data can cause such mishaps often.

How do I resolve the problem of YouTube loading, but not playing videos?
I was experiencing the same issue. Problem in my case was Date and Time of PC. For some reasons I had kept the date of Laptop to an old date. Just changed the date to present date. Youtube started working. How I found the error was: Over the Youtube Video space in browser, RIght click 2 times and Click on “Inspect”. It will open up a window within browser. Any error it will show in Red color. Just read the error message and google the solution for it. In my case, Error was Certificate date in valid something..so i figured out the issue was with date configuration.

First up, double-check your internet connection, for the YouTube channel... you need to have a minimum connection support of about 1 MBps. Second, make sure there aren't any "Bandwidth hogs" running on the connection. What I mean by "Bandwidth hogs" is anything that's utilizing a LOT of the bandwidth for your connection. BitTorrent, Skype (while on a video call), Steam (while downloading a game), ect. Downloading anything big that's going fairly fast (like 500 Kbps or more) could be consider a hog. The Wii can only support a relatively small buffer, which is about 30 seconds. The Wii U might support a larger buffer OR allow you to view at HD-levels for the same buffer... so I can't be totally aware on what the Wii U is capable of. However, I have experienced "Rebuffer Hell" (where the stream stops for a while, plays for 5 - 30 seconds & stops again to rebuffer the stream) & I know that any heavy usage on your connection, especially if there's no "Quality of Service" (QoS) system on the router (which prioritize usage requests), you should try to throttle the usage of those services / downloads (if possible) or wait until those services / downloads are done before resuming your video stream to reduce such issues. I will note that I occasionally have some "playback errors", but it usually happens right at the start of the video (before it even starts) as the Wii app jumps to the next video in the playlist. Usually have the cursor on-screen prevents this, or at least allows me to catch the switch so I can back up & try again. While this may not completely apply to the Wii U, but I hope this sheds some light on the issue.
