Mine was an arranged marriage 40 years back. I met her in my relative’s house and she was not aware of the purpose of meet. It was a casual discussion. She was more fluent in Malayalam than Tamil and my case was reverse. Yet, we communicated and it was fun watching how we floundered.After marriage, we took a vow that we shall remain faithful, honest, loving, caring, sharing and strictly no abuse in any form and no cheating. Thanks to God we could remain so, till now. Our tastes differ, we disagree on many issues, there have been arguments, fights, disagreements but we never hated each other.The relationship goes on and now with grandchildren, we are enjoying every moment of life amidst all the day to day problems that keep cropping up on and off.
