When Is Pottermore On Playstation Busy

There is a girl I like who likes musicals and Harry Potter, what are interesting things I can talk to her about?

Seeing as nobody’s answered this yet, I’m gonna suggest talking about something that combines her two hobbies that you mentioned (musicals + Harry Potter). Behold! The Very Potter Musicals! If she’s really a fan, she probably already knows about it, but if she doesn’t, now’s the time to introduce her to it. They’re pretty much fan parodies of the books done by (at the time) college kids so the quality of the videos aren’t very good but just turn the captions on and you should be fine. They first came out in 2009 but they still hold up. In fact, I think they’re better regarded by fans than the “official” play that we got in Cursed Child. They’re just that good, or should I say totally awesome! They’re all completely free on YouTube.A Very Potter MusicalThis is the very first one. Like I said, the audio is very shoddy, but turn the captions on to better understand what’s being said. (Hey, we didn’t have this feature before but we still managed to enjoy it). Just follow the next videos after this one.A Very Potter SequelThis is, well, the sequel. Audio is better here, but captions are also available if you still need help. Again, just follow the subsequent videos after this one.A Very Potter Senior YearAnd finally, AVPSY. This is just a reading and not a full production so it’s not as polished as the other two but it’s still considered part of the trilogy. Most of the cast were busy doing other stuff; Darren Criss, who played Harry, was already appearing in Glee on TV, so they really couldn’t do the full production anymore. But it’s still great, plus Evanna Lynch actually appears in this one as Luna Lovegood, so yay! Her singing’s a little suspect but who cares? She’s Luna Lovegood! These were all done by Team StarKid. If she likes these, I recommend she check out their non-Potter related musicals as well as they’re also good. Best of luck to you!

In Harry Potter, where did the following happen? In which book?

It clearly happens at some point during Order of the Phoenix, since the Order is mentioned and Sirius is still alive. However, as others say, this does not happen in the books, where the only chapters that happen from a perspective that is not Harry's are the first chapters of Books 1 (the aftermath of Voldemort's death and Harry's arrival to Privet Drive), 4 (Frank Bryce's life and then discovering Voldemort at Riddle Manor), 6 (Narcissa and Bellatrix visiting Snape, and Snape making the Unbreakable Oath) and 7 (Death Eater meeting, Charity Burbage is killed and fed to Nagini).

How do the poor witches and wizards of muggle birth afford to send their children to Hogwarts?

Okay first of all, let’s scrap all of this pounds to galleons nonsense. Even on the Muggle edition of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (textbook), the numbers of the price on the back, and the numbers in the introduction (where it counts up the donations) are way off. I’ve done the math. (and it wasn’t easy considering they use the numbers 27 and 19.)Hogwarts education is free. Entirely free. However, some books and and equipment are a little too much to handle. Many families can apply to the ministry (this is all MOM’s domain, not the school itself) for the financial aid program. Families like the Weasleys likely used a bit of this money. And muggles most certainly do not exchange their money. There is a fund in Gringotts for these children specifically. In the past two decades, blood status has become less significant, at least in the public, though some wizards still do care about blood status. There are, however, two different procedures for Hogwarts students: Muggle-raised and wizard-raised. Muggle-raised students (not all are muggleborns though, for example harry or Voldemort) get a visitor from the school the summer before they are due to arrive, explaining the situation and then they are taken (usually via the Knight Bus or muggle transportation as any other means would be a bit hard to process) to Diagon Alley and they get their money (a bit more than 100 galleons a year, depending on what year they are in) from the Ministry of Magic Fund for Muggle Raised Student Welfare and then they go with their Hogwarts representative and their parents to buy books as usual.Edit: just out of curiosity, I read the other answers. Just to clarify, Hogwarts is a tuition-free private school. Also, when the Grangers were “changing Muggle money,” they were doing it amongst themselves not with goblins in exchange for galleons.
