Cannot access my Yahoo Notepad?
I've also experienced problems with Notepad recently. I started using this URL: https://calendar.yahoo.com/?view=notepad I have been unable to move notes between folders successfully (most of the time). This is my biggest concern right now but I'm sure they will be fixing soon. I think they are cleaning up some glitches or something and hoping things will be back to normal soon. I am using Windows 7, Internet exporer 9. I've emailed yahoo in the past that I never want notepad to go away and that I'm willing to pay for a "premium" version but never heard back from them.

Yahoo is introducing a new mail version to most users over the next couple of days, the missing "notepad" feature is related to that. This does NOT mean that Yahoo will do away with it, it's just not available anymore from the lists of features. Hello there! We have heard your pleas on Twitter, and I have magically like your personal djinn appeared to assist you with this problem! OK, to be honest, I am mainly here to apologize. I saw your question a few days ago, and I filed a bug ticket to our engineering department ... but apparently in the ensuing cubicle melee involving three ninjas, an oliphaunt, and several pirates, I neglected to actually respond to this question so that you would know that I had done that. Really sorry about that slip-up. However, the good news with that is that our engineering team is already aware of this issue and they are looking into it. Unfortunately, I don't have a timeframe for when they will fix this. However, I am confident their investigation will turn up results in no time! I (and everyone else here too) really appreciate your time and patience while we work on this for you!
Does Yahoo Notepad only go to Yahoo Calendars now?
Yahoo Notepad was lost. Then it was found and bookmarked. I just used it a few days ago, but now when I click on it, it only goes to Calendar! I am SO frustrated! I have tons of important information saved in there that I desperately need. What is going on? How can I get to my saved information?

How can I access my notepad?
I can no longer use the link I saved for Notepad. I know they took the notepad off of the tool bar but I had saved a direct link to mine and it was working for a long time. Today I tried it and it takes me to my calendar. I REALLY need some information in there. I did a search and found the same link but once I go there I still get my calendar. PLEASE HELP!!

What purpose does Yahoo still serve?
I will call this a complete PR failure from Yahoo. People still think Yahoo is just a search engine and given Google's (and Bing's) superiority nobody uses it. That is an utterly wasteful thought. Yahoo still gets more than 3 Billion hits every day. As of June 2015, it was the 4th most visited website on the planet with more than 7 Billion hits on its news and media sites alone every month.Yahoo also owns Tumblr, one of the biggest blogging platforms in the world with more than 550 million users. Tumblr itself makes Yahoo one of the giants in social networks.Yahoo owns a substantial share of Alibaba which evaluates to ~$32 Billion. Yahoo also owns a lot of stake in a multitude of companies globally via Yahoo International.Its a shame that such a huge company is out for sale but it is still used and loved by a lot of people around the globe.
