When Rangers Win Their 55th League Title Should They Get A Special Award To Mark The Occasion

Craig Levein reckons the SPL title is not an impossibility for United?

Cap youth system i seem to remember you lot signing a few of our lads in the recent past.

It can and will be done before i'm in my grave i'm sure of it and i dont think it'll be long away mainly because i think the huns and tic have overreached themselves financially and the quality they are bringing in is not far off what a good youth structure can bring to a club like utd.

I few months ago in the Dundee tele dundee fans were writing in asking why utd fans werent on CL back as results werent going his way answer were no that stupid!

Craig has been the most stable manager weve had in years and the fans see what he's trying to do on the park as to your comment about him going to a championship strugglers he's already turned down watford because he think more can be done up here! Jim Mclean once says it takes a manager a minimum of five years to compleatly turn a team into his vision. Craig has just begun.

Mabe if the other could be big club on the east coast had any vision whatsoever we might have seen some sort of challenge your a one team city yet even with that your war cry is that of a two month old kitten.

Champions League draw for British clubs...what do you think?

Group A: Liverpool, Porto, Marseille and Besiktas

Liverpool have been handed one of the easier groups on paper, like last year when they found themselves against the likes of Bordeaux and PSV.

Group B: Chelsea, Valencia, Schalke and Rosenborg

This is undoubtedly one of the biggest groups. Valencia were the toughest of the groups not among the top eight seeds, and will meet Chelsea in a repeat of last season's tight Champions League quarter-final.

Group D: AC Milan, Benfica, Celtic and Shakhtar Donetsk

Milan, like Chelsea, get one of their knock-out stage opponents in Celtic. The defending champions have an easy group on paper, and should cruise through if they bring anything close to their A game into the tournament.

Group E: Barcelona, Lyon, Stuttgart, Rangers

Rangers will be left ruing their luck. They will be ready for the battle, make no mistake, and they can compete with Lyon and Stuttgart on their day, but they will surely wonder what they did to deserve such a tricky group.

Group F: Manchester United, Roma, Sporting Lisbon and Dynamo Kiev.

This group is undoubtedly the most exciting one. With Roma and Manchester United expected to provide us with nothing but more fireworks (hopefully only on the pitch this time around), one cannot wait for the action to begin.

Group H: Arsenal, Sevilla/AEK, Steaua Bucharest, Slavia Prague

Arsenal seem to have been handed a reasonable draw, but so was the case last year when they found Porto, Hamburg and CSKA. The Gunners are more mature, but then they have a trickier opponent in the marauding Sevilla, who have been in sensational form.

*Because we aren’t the navy, Air Force or Army. The USMC isn’t nasty. Period. :) *….but for real….My understanding is that the Marines are held to a certain standard that requires uniformity and upholding the Corps’ values.Marines have always had strict standards and guidelines about wearing cammies off base. Some reasons for this include:-pride and uniformity-wearing cammies in public makes the individual a target. There are foreign operatives and weirdos who could potentially cause a Marine great harm. This is easily avoided by not wearing the cammies in public. Before General Conways ban, Marines used to be able to briefly stop off base for things like gas, dry cleaning, etc. Now, Marines are only authorized to stop for emergencies (car accidents, emergency medical situations, breaking down etcetera).Besides being caught and given a page 11, restriction to the barracks, and loss of pay, the likelihood that another Marine will catch you (or multiple Marines) is another factor….and probably the most embarrassing.I was driving by a gas station off of Western Blvd near Lejeune one day and happened to look over and see a marine outside of his Vehicle pumping gas. I couldn’t just let it go, so of course I pulled up next to him to let him know how Nasty he was making my Corps look. I wasn’t even able to get near him before there was a swarm of other Marines heading towards him. Since things have changed since I got out I’m sure this would now be considered “hazing,” but Marines police their own.See ALMAR 035/07 for more info!WEAR OF THE MARINE CORPS COMBAT UTILITY UNIFORMHope this helps, Devil!

Which NHL team will win the Stanley Cup?

After careful analysis of the current NHL stats, I woudl say there are several teams who are diligently qualified for the Stanley Cup this year. Detroit is obviously the front runner with just 11 losses to their name after 41 games or so. Dallas has improved defensively over the last several weeks, with Marty Turco who did a stunning job last year, with Mike Ribiero who has already matched his goal totals for last year and with the veteran experience of Brednan Morrow and Mike Modano, I would say they also have a huge chance of taking the Stanley Cup home.

San Jose has an incredibe talent in Joe Thornton and a stellar goaltender in Evgeni Nabokov along with consistent defense. So I would say they have a chance.

In the east, although Ottawa has shown it's killer instinct, I have doubts of them making a second straight appearance at the stanley cup finals. Alfredsson, Heatley and Spezza have been incredible as always but they seem to be playing a more nervous type of hockey these days. If they keep this up, it will eventually kill them. New Jersey has been solid all year with the famed Martin Brodeur between the pipes and with such great talents in Patrick Elias, John Madden and Zach Parise. Their defense has lost a bit of it's fire power in the defensive end though with the releasing of long time devils defenseman, Brian Rafalski. Their chances remain high though with their killer powerplay and their creative forchecking.

Another great team to watch out for would be the New York Rangers. A new favourite to win the cup in many minds across the eastern conference with Vezina trophy nominee, Henrik Lundqvist as goaltender, extremely talented veteran, Brendan Shanahan and captain Jaromir Jagr, one of the best power forwards in the game today. The Rangers have solid defense and an extremely effective work ethic on the powerplay and even strength situations. But one thing that might kill their chances is their endurance which I have seen a lack of in the last several weeks.

Overall, the favourites I would pick based upon the analysis are either Detroit and San Jose for the west and either New Jersey or the New York Rangers for the west.

P.S. What happened to Tampa Bay?!!
