Stop iPhone from opening next email after delete?

I receive my gmail emails on my iPhone. When I have an email open and delete it on my phone, it opens the next email immediately and marks it as read. How do I change this so it goes back to the inbox after deleting, rather than to the next message (like what happens on the gmail website)?

How can I delete a message from the Gmail inbox of the receiver, after it has been sent?

If you want to Undo the sent mails and remove from Inbox of that person then it is possible on Gmail.Must Read: Step-by-Step Guide to Undo sent Emails with ScreenshotsI worked for Google support previously so I believe I'm qualified to answer. For regular Gmail account there is, unfortunately, no way of removing the email message short of signing into their account and removing it. If it's a Google Apps (or Gmail for Work) account on the receiving end, an admin could probably remove it, in case you happen to know them.Regular Gmail accounts don't have access to support other than Google group (forums) assigned to them. Although you could set up a free Google Apps account trial to get to support, they still won't be able to access the regular Gmail account. There is the Gmail lab previously mentioned that gives you a minute or so to stop the message from leaving after you hit send. Best of luck.It is very dangerous but it will more dangerous if that email is very confidential, even if you block those emails the mails will not be removed from their inbox. If you are going through the same condition then doesn’t panic just follow the steps which can help you to understand how to retrieve emails in Gmail if you send to a wrong person id.Step-1At first, go to the setting option and click on it which you can find the left side of your computer screen. After clicking on this here you will find another sitting option and again click on it.Step-2After click on sitting here you can see a new window will appear and there are different kinds of options. So don’t click anywhere without knowledge. After entering the new window just go to the “General” option which is showing above and then go to “Undo Send” option and click on “Enable Undo Send” mark.Step-3After giving tick mark on “Enable Undo Send” then input cancellation period in second. It is the main part of cancel a wrong message. As you can see we already input 30 seconds and you can also same like us, that’s mean you will get 30 seconds to cancel the wrong email if you send an email to the wrong email id.Source: Step-by-Step Guide to Undo sent Emails with Screenshots

Does viewing an email send a message to the sender?

In the old Yahoo mail I could check a box and delete an email without viewing it. In beta I have to view an email in the preview pane to allow me to delete it or send it to spam. Does viewing an email in the preview pane allow the sender to get a message that this email has been viewed? This would let them know that they have a real active email. I don't want that to happen.

If I delete my gmail account from one device, are my emails still on my other devices?

If you are deleting one account from one device, then yes, your emails will be on every device they were previously on.If you are actually deleting the services and deactivating the account from one device, you will not have the emails on your other devices. If you want to deactivate your entire email address, go to settings, delete products, and deactivate account. If you simply would like to delete your email address from that one device, you can go a number of routes to solve this problem. You can open “Settings” and “Accounts” in your mobile phone to view all accounts you’re logged into (from Google, SoundCloud, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.). You can sign out of Google right there if you’d like.If I was deleting a google account completely from a device, I would use a backup for the device and wipe the entire system. There are more bugs and malware than most can imagine so I take the time to get my device working properly.

My yahoo messenger opens, shows that I have mail, but I can't open my emails as its unable to read the setting

Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. If you look you will find lots of people cannot send/receive/delete mail at the moment. I was advised to uninstall Javascript and then reinstall the latest version from http://www.java.com/. You could also try http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer for the latest Flash player. This worked for me. If it does not for you then apparently it's only in the all new version. Try returning to the Classic version for now. Good luck use this link to get back http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?script=no click yes when asked do you want to opt out. Hope this helps.
