I am feeling lonely, I want start reading novels, I have never read any novel before, what are some good novels to start with?

It completely depends on the type of novel you like to read. There are two types fiction and non fiction. I’ll talk about fiction nowAs you have’nt read any novel i would say just pick any type of novel and read it. Well make sure you complete it no matter what. That’s the most important thing you should do when you start reading a book. Don’t move to other book.Generally people love thrillers(am just guessing based on my experience, it changes from person to person) so you can start with some thriller. So sidney sheldon might be good to start with eg. Doomsday conspiracy. Then there are inspirational books like The alchemist. Then other romantic type like the fault in our stars. Some classic novels like to kill a mocking bird, the god of small things. So read each type of books. This will clear your interest about what kind of books you wpuld like to read. And if you absolutely have no idea about the novels start with Dan Brown. I started with The Lost Symbol by Dan Brown. As it was my first i found it very interesting, full of all knowledge and gripping. So you can start with Dan Brown any of his books.Edit:As mentined by akash solankiKhaled hosseini! How can i forget. Yes the kite runner. One of the best ive read,it has every thing suspense thrilling emotion. Surely you can start with it.

What's the difference between love, lust, and infatuation?

How can you tell if what you're feeling is love, lust, or infatuation? What's the difference between them? I'm dating someone and I'm so confused. (I don't have much experience in this area, obviously.) How do you know if this is the person you want to spend the rest of your life with?

How can I make readers more emotionally connected to characters in my book?

Characters respond to their environment and the people in it in a variety of ways:They notice things with their senses--taste, touch, smell, hearing, sight. If you leave out all of the senses readers interpret the character as living in a cold cell devoid of life. They react instinctively to sensations, hot means ow and withdrawal, for example.Emotions come into play gradually. People don't go from happy to blind rage in two sentences. Let the reader become aware of a gradual change. They vocalize their thoughts and feelings, after they react physically. Too many thoughts about feeling is interpreted by a reader as the author telling the story instead of showing it. So limit narrative that can be shown via body language. The gradual changes in emotional content should be understood in terms of the overall story. Lesser instinctive reactions should fit in. This means limit what a character feels in a scene as a gradual change from one emotion to the next, rather than a whole set of emotions. Reconnect in the next scene to the previous emotional content or the reader will be confused.Be careful of extreme emotions. Don't start the story with them. Don't overuse them. One scene I read had blood in the first sentence. Blood, blood, blood followed in the overall scene. As a reader, I was bored with blood and the impact of that blood slowly ramped down.
