Why can I get into my mail box and receive mail?
When you cannot sign in to your account, usually there is a message that appears onscreen that explains what the problem is. It would be helpful if you could post this message or error code. Hi, Oh, just about several thousand are having the same problem. Please read. Sorry, it is just part of the glitch in Yahoo!'s new format. Server Farm incompatibility is usually the problem. Thousands are having many different problems with their e-mail. This applies to almost all areas of mail (including signing in, composing, receiving, sending, attachments, photos, etc.), original and beta mail, messenger and search problems. Yahoo! is wrapping up a few remaining compatibility issues between Yahoo! Mail Beta (beta testing lasts for at least 6 months!!!) and the new Microsoft Internet Explorer 7. 1. You will have less problems with original mail if you sign in via Messenger! Go to preferences, general, then check box: Automatically sign me in when I click a Yahoo! link in Messenger. Or go to My Yahoo and click on your mail link. Or Click on the Big RED Y! on the Yahoo! Toolbar. Bottom line is any link that already has you signed in!!! 2. If you have Beta Mail, it wouldn't let me in so I went to beta help and it said to click on my toolbar mail icon. So I did and it worked! 3. This has worked for a lot of people per: their feedback to me. http://wap.oa.yahoo.com/ can be used to sign into Yahoo!, then put yahoo back into the address bar and hit go. It will take you back to Yahoo! and you can open mail normally. Otherwise, you can open mail in wap, but it is blind. I had to go through wap each time I logged in. 4. BETA means TESTING!!! So, it seems we have to stop using these two programs (if you installed them) or try to work around them until they finish wrapping things up. Your IE6 is still installed, so you just have to go to: Start, settings/control panel, add/remove programs and delete IE7. Whenever I sign into Yahoo mail, I receive this message: This page cannot be displayed. Can somebody tell me?
I also want to know why. It seems to me it only occures on the UK accounts. I have a Hong Kong one for my personal use and got 2 UK ones for work. I've tried every single method to log in to my UK a/c(s), using IE, Mozzila, by pass from Messenger, tool bar, US home page, but none of it works. I can open my HK one without any problems but the main one I need to log in is my work ones!!
How can i receive mail into my mail server?
Hi, Can someone guide me on how to configure my mail server (Mdaemon v 8.0.3) to receive email. I can send email without any problem to my accounts like Yahoo etc via an account created on the Mdaemon mail server but i cannot receive mail from Yahoo/Hotmail etc to the email addresses created on the mail server. I have a static ip address. What may be the probable problem?. Thanks alot.

Why can't I sign into mail?
UPDATE: Last week, there were some intermittent login issues last that affected many of the Yahoo! Messenger users (and some Yahoo! Mail users). While it wasn’t an issue to login to Yahoo! Answers, as you can see that those affected by the login issue were able to come on here and ask questions, some Yahoo! sites/products were affected. This intermittent issue occured from June 20th - June 22nd.

There are many issues at this time. Many are unable to send, receive, sign in or out, or use any features in the mail. Yahoo has their engineers working on the problems. They hope to have it fixed soon, In the meantime, you can click one of these links to access your mail, it's basic, no frills, but it works. http://us.m.yahoo.com/p/mail or: http://uk.m.yahoo.com/p/mail or: http://id.m.yahoo.com/p/mail I use the "us" link when Yahoo has problems. You may also have a bad cache. Click Tools, Internet options. Delete the cookies, temp files and history. Click Ok and Restart the computer Some are switching to a different browser, firefox,etc. Make sure your java is updated Also you can turn of the Compatibility view located when you click Tools. It worked for others.
Outlook does not receives all emails from the server while gmail receives it. What can be the possible reason?
I am likely the wrong person to ask, since I strongly dislike Outlook, and all email clients. No exceptions. Enabling IMAP on Gmail and using IMAP with Outlook to check emails would probably help you quite a bit. But it's not a full solution.For my clients who insist on using Outlook, I recommend they use one machine only, and try to only use Outlook, not Outlook and the Webmail interface. One or the other, not both.Leaving a copy on the server is not a solution, you end up getting the same emails over and over with Outlook. If you want to access you Gmail from multiple devices, using Outlook with Gmail is simply a bad idea. It never works smoothly no matter what you do. I understand Outlook CAN work smoothly when you use it to check email on an old Exchange server, even when you use multiple machines... but Outlook just doesn't play nice with Google Apps/Gmail.And it's utterly unnecessary! If you just check your Gmail using the Web interface and/or the Android or iPhone Gmail app, you will never have this problem.When you bring Outlook into the picture, its kinda like taking a horse and buggy, unhitching the horse, and hitching it to a Ferrari.Problems!
