Does medication prevent astral projection?

I know DXM(found in almost all cough medicine) can prevent them: I have sleep paralysis episodes every once and a while, but before I actually realised what was happening and how to use it to astral project it scared the mess out of me: It was during this time I discovered that everytime I was on DXM(was using it for intense meditation purposes so I used more than what someone would use for a cough), it always stopped me from going beyound the vibration point(at first I used to always try to force myself awake when I felt the vihrations cause I was scared, but with the DXM it automaticaly , somehow, prevented me from going any further than the vibrations themself without me trying to stop it myself)….Good answer although the video goes into a little more depth.I’ve been studying (and practicing) astral projection for almost 20 years now. And I wish I’d started earlier. The one thing I have noticed in the last decade or so is the amount of nonsense the internet has brought to the topic. People looking to make a buck are inventing methods, supplements and products with claims of helping you astral project but when they don’t work (which they never do) people don’t see results and end up quitting.Astral projection really isn’t that complicated. Take it back to basics and stick with it for a week or two. Trust me - you’ll start to see results. Stop following random methods people make up. I run one of the biggest astral projection sites and I still suggest people use a book which is about 50 years old because it gets results. On top of that you can download the full audiobook for free here: Mastering Astral Projection (Free Audiobook) Back to Basics with Fast Working Methods

Does smoking weed can make you a scientist?

It made ME into a scientist! But it only helps with one science, the science of the Mind! When I first smoked pot at the age of 18 I realized I had discovered a secret rabbit hole into an invisible universe which was my own mind. I later enhanced my studies with LSD, PCP, MDMA, DXM, Ketamine, and other substances, each of which had a distinct effect on my mind, giving me a clearer picture of what my brain is actually doing.I wrote a book about the whole experienceThe Grand Illusion: A psychonautical odyssey into the depths of human experiencehttp://cns-alumni.bu.edu/~slehar...I made an extraordinary discovery (I was not the first, but it was a first for me, and most people still haven’t heard it) that everything you experience as a world around you is actually an image inside your brain.A Cartoon EpistemologyAnd thats a scientific fact! Even if many so-called scientists dismiss it off-hand as if it were insignificant to neuroscience. Insignificant to neuroscience? That we can see the world around us as a 3-D moving colored structure? Insignificant to neuroscience how we walk around without bumping into walls or falling down stairs? That is the first and primal issue neuroscience should address.Smoking weed CAN make you a scientist. It worked for me! Don’t quit your day job, nobody listens to science developed from smoking weed.It was worth it for me anyways, even though it was never a career, it was a lifetime adventure of exploration and discovery that sure made MY life worthwhile (to me). I don’t care if it takes another century before the significance of my discovery becomes clear. (or whether or not I am personally given any credit for the discovery. Its pretty much obvious after all!) it was worthwhile for me to better understand how the world works, and that is what science is all about. The World In Your HeadGestalt Isomorphism

Science has discovered the existence of ethereal matter, which they call anti-matter?

I think you are sadly mistaken. Ethereal matter, according to my recent understanding of it, is something like a substance that makes up the human soul, and the space above this universe that makes up the next world, which we will go to when we die. Modern science doesn't speak of ethereal matter. It is more of a spiritual or philosophical concept. Anti-matter is something that has been proven to exist for a very long time. Each elementary particle in the Standard Model of particle physics has an antiparticle. Scientists have created anti-matter, mostly in the form of anti-hydrogen, the opposite of an atom of hydrogen. Basically an electron has an antiparticle called a positron, which is so named because it has the same properties of an electron, except it has the opposite charge. And protons and neutrons have antiprotons and antineutrons respectively, which are made from the opposites of the quarks which make them up, called anti-up and anti-down quarks. We don't know the basic properties of antimatter because we haven't been able to make enough of it to actually be able to see it or see the effect of gravity or electromagnetism on it. But we do know what happens when antimatter touches regular matter. Basically, because they are opposites, antimatter and matter cancel each other out in a process called annihilation. Annihilation is exactly how it sounds, a giant explosion. If 1 kg of antimatter annihilated with 1 kg of matter, it would release 180,000,000,000,000,000 (180 quintillion) Joules of energy, approximately equivalent to 43 megatons of TNT exploding, which is hundreds of times more powerful than 1 kg of fissile material in a nuclear detonation. This proves that antimatter cannot exist among us, who are made of matter, or else we would explode. Antimatter and ethereal matter are two completely different concepts.

Is there any drug in dayquil that can be perscribed as an antidepressant ?

Actually, I think you know exactly what you did, you just want a medical professional to confirm it for you, right, "Mr. Smith"? So, I'm gonna break it down for you, so that you really understand the effects of OTC(Over The Counter) drug abuse, It's called "Dexing" (also DXM, ROBO, Skittles, Triple C, Tussin), kids have discovered that they can take an INTENTIONAL increased amount of OTC meds like Dayquil, "on an empty stomach" (damn, you little people are too smart to be stupid!) to avoid absorbtion of the Dextromethorphan, which the main ingredient in most cough remedies, it's a cough supressant. When used in excess, Dextromethorphan causes a dissociative, hallucinogenic, "psychedelic" effect, and an alteration of consciousness. If you take more than the usual "get high" dose, the effects are heightened, not lengthened. Sounds like an innocent high, right,Mr. Smith?...Check this out: With prolonged use, kids experience dysphoria, "the bad trip" (the opposite of euphoria, the "good trip"), panic, paranoia, and a feeling of dread. You still think it's the best, cheapest, (wow! it only costs $5-$6.00 to jack yourself up, now!) "harmless" new high out there, Mr Smith? Think again...

Coricidin Cough and Cold for weight loss and other benefits. Is it worth the risk?

PLEASE HELP MEEEEEEE !!! I have started used Coricidin HBP cough and cold tablets as a form to achieve a high. I know it its potentially dangerous and fatal. But I've never passed 8 tablets . But In May I discovered I could lose weight by using these pills . I don't know how I lose that weight but it happens on its own. When I discovered this, I began using these pills for a different purpose. I started using these pills as a major weight loss tool. I then began to exercise hard while on the pills. I take 8 tablets, wait 2 hours , and go to the gym and work out. I would lose up to 7 to 8 pounds effortlessly. After a workout and 1 hour of rest, I looked alot more attractive. My skin was softer, more tone, and my eyes were light. My pupils covered my eyes almost completely, I looked relaxed. And when I have conversations, Im smoother, funnier, and open minded. I can compare this to the movie "Limitless". A man who does a extremely dangerous drug that helped him achieve great things. In my case I felt invincible. The next day its back to reality. I have been doing this for over 6 months. My question is this. Is there a safer method to get the ingredients that cause the weight loss, the widening of pupils, the healthy feeling skin, and this boost of confidence? Is it the DXM that causes this? If so, how can i take DXM safely? Another question I have is what causes all this? Answers will be EXTREMELY Helpful . I've been dying for answers for months. As for everyone trying to have a good time , lose weight quick , and look good. Try it out yourself and follow these steps . You will not be disappointed. I truly believe active ingredients in this product can help grow hair, eliminate stress completely, and boost confidence. Who knows? - Im 155 pounds 19 years old , 5'4 in height .

If overactivation of NMDA receptors leads to amyloid beta plaque build-up, then can NMDA antagonists be helpful in preventing that amyloid build-up?

First, let me assure that more money is being spent on Alzheimer's research than just about every other human affliction (I imagine obesity and type 2 diabetes are the only exceptions). That being said, if there were one, traceable cause of Alzheimer's-induced dementia, I can assure you it would have been found by now.  The problem is that the human brain - the entire human body, in fact - is incredibly complex, and in terms of understanding how it works, we've barely scratched the surface.  Amyloid plaque build-up is the result of a host of genetic and environmental factors that scientists have only just begun to tease out; there is no silver bullet for preventing or reversing it, nor is it likely that one will be discovered. There are some promising genetic and endocrinological studies going on right now, though.  I suggest availing yourself of PubMed; there are a lot of free articles on there that can get you up to speed on the latest developments.

2 Drug questions about Diphenhydramine (Benadryl)?

Well, any medicine that is in pill form will be absobed into the body through the stomach walls and into the blood quicker if it is crushed, as there is more surface area for breakdown, and so breakdown is quicker and absorbtion is quicker. So, yes, you ill get high quicker, the blood concentration would be higher for a shorter amount of time, so the high, or 'trip' would be better, but not last as long.

Hope that helps, I have no personal experience of this, and think that really you need to get a life, and stop showing off on YA; "ooh, I take a legal drug, aren't I cool?" No.

Ashley

EDIT:
Haha, "have done many illict drugs and Im not much into boasting". Kind of a contradictory statement, lol. So, yeh, I would assume that crushing it would increase the effects, but that they would last less time. Dont get over excited though, the effect wont be much different.
I take it liquid unisom has Diphenhydramine in it? If so, then yes, again, it is likely to make the effects quicker and more strong then tablets, but depending on how the solution is prepared it might have no effect, or take even longer! If the solution has Diphenhydramine sulphate in, for example, rather than plain old Diphenhydramine I would suspect that it would have to go through whats called 'first-pass metabolism', where drugs are altered by the liver and intestinal walls, and released into the blood in their effective form. If this is the case, it might take longer then crushed tablets. Why dont you just give it a go and see?

Psychedelic Drugs: In 100 years, which will be the drug of choice?

The drug that will be most common in 100 years will be alcohol. There is no indication that alcohol consumption will drop in any way. It may actually increase. Wormwood extracts will be available to increase the effects of alcohol and many people will go insane because of this. Beyond alcohol, marijuana will be legal essentially worldwide. The places where it will remain prohibited will be mostly Islamic countries. It will not be legalized in the middle east or any of the countries with a significant muslim population. Cocaine will be obsolete. It will be available in south america for novelty seekers. It will be about as common as ayahuasca. LSD will be a myth. There will be "acid" that is similar in effect, but it will not be the same. Mostly this will be random drugs from the 2C series of phenethylamines. Common ones will be 25NBOMe, 25i, 2C-I, 2C-D, 2C-E and 2C-B. "Molly" will be common, it will be called something else and no one will have any idea what it is when they buy it. It will always be a different experience because it will always be a combination of whatever powders the manufacturor had laying around. Just like it is today really.Heroin will never disappear completely. Opiates will not be as common because of the memory of the effects of homemade desomorphine and other synthetic opiods. Most people will avoid opiates of any kind because they will be afraid that their flesh will rot and fall off their bones. Dissociatives will be common. Ketamine and NO2 and DXM will be available in amounts unheard of now. PCP will have a small subculture. I would guess that a new class of substances may show up. Deleriants may become more known and used. This will lead to a lot of horror stories and people will seek out these substances to see what its all about. Amphetamines will be prescribed to many more people and phenethylamine stimulants will be a huge part of the market. methamphetamine, ethylamphetamine, and many other amphetamines will be common. The use of these drugs will be less demonized after society has something like krokadil or datura to compare it to. It wont be much different than it is now.
