Haha.. I'm an Indian girl and I certainly do not wish to be White coz White people are tooooo much white in my opinion ;-) But I understand what you say. Many many Indians are obsessed with white skin. But make no mistake, for them a fair skin doesnt mean European skin tone, it means a yellowish or light brown skin. Of course there are several Indian guys who are obsessed with White women. I think it could be coz of movies or because they look something exotic. Idk...

How can I become Miss India?
Femina Miss India has changed their format for 2018. Presently they select 3 girls from every state and they ultimately crown one girl who represents her state at FBB Femina Miss India. This year’s eligibility criteria can be as follows:1.Height required to participate is 5.5’’ and above2. Age limit 18-25 years Marital status : single,unmarried, and not engaged.3. The passport should be an Indian Passport Holder/Overseas Indian Citizen.4. 26-27 years old can only compete for runner up positions as the eligibility for Miss World is 18-255. The participants would need to carry Passport,birth cert., school cert., DL etc.Once the registrations are done with, the selected participants will receive a unique registration no. wherein the selected participant from city auditions will get a chance to participate in the state zonal crowning ceremony. You get cash prizes worth Rs. 85000 or more if you win the subcontests held there.The state winner finally gets to represent in Miss India 2018 grand finale in Mumbai. As per my experience this is what i have faced and witnessed till now to compete in this enthralling pageant. As i belong from a small state it was a bit difficult to process all of this at once, but don’t worry you’ll catch a hold of it as you experience new beginnings each passing day. It’s really a simple process though as long as you be yourself throughout the journey. My advice, just carry yourself well in whatever you are best at, discover your weaknesses that you would have to work on before you go for such pageant and work on them to excel beyond your own imaginations and then finally you make yourself and your parents ’s proud. Why are Koreans so obsessed with looking like white women?
ukekris, I don't think he (or she) is jealous. I just think they are annoyed that Asians are surgically copying features that are supposed to belong to whites. But, to be honest, Asian men and women are considered pretty unattractive in the states. @ ukekris: Why would anyone be jealous of someone else getting plastic surgery? If these women were naturally beautiful, then of course that would be jealousy, but plastic surgery is something that anyone can get. Furthermore, Asians aren't considered attractive in the states (including the K-Pop stars), so it's not likely anyone would be jealous. If there's a group of women to be jealous of it would be the blue-eyed blondes of Sweden who are loved by men all around the world. Of course a black person getting blue contacts, a narrow nose and a blonde weave would be trying to look white. I don't know if these girls are trying to look white, but the plastic surgeries in Korea are blatantly designed to make them look LESS Asian. A lot of the plastic surgeries they get, such as the nose job, is ridiculous and doesn't even suit their face! The Sinhalese are a caucasian race, by the way. They are Indo Aryans. I also really doubt that you're caucasian by the way. Why would a caucasian be a regular on the Korea board? Don't know why you're lying about that, but it definitely signifies that you think you would be taken more seriously saying that you're 'Caucasian' than 'Asian'.
Do white guys like Indian girls?
I've recently started watching the Mindy Project on tv, and it's about an Indian doctor and her love life. She tends to attract white men. I'm half Indian, half English and was born in England. However, the types of guys that I attract are usually black or Indian...never a white guy. My Indian friends also attract the same guys. I've also never seen an Indian girl with a white man (I've seen it the opposite way around). I mean, there are a lot of interracial couples like white and Asian, white and black, black and Hispanic etc..but I've never seen an asian woman and a white man. I know the majority of white men tend to go for white woman, but is it true that white men don't like Indian girls?

This is a natural feeling of any one who settled abroad with a foreigner.it would have been worse if your husband had migrated to India and settled with you here India. One has to sacrifice a lot for the love. You should travel to your home land as and when possible without creating difficulties to your husband. What about children? They alone can reduce the longing for a change. Invite desirable relatives and friends to spend a few days with you. Make efforts to interact with respectable Indian families living in Australia. Since your husband is a great guy do not disappoint him by your homesickness. Australians love to have more children. They alone can be the change and pleasure in the future. Try to engage yourself in new ventures. We all know it is a tough decision to marry a foreigner. Indians do not retreat.That’s the beauty of their mind once married.
What is the process of becoming Miss India? Do I need to win campus princess and other state level competitions before applying for Miss India?
Hello Geetika Guduru !Thank you for the A2A and sorry about the late answer!It's not necessary to win Campus Princess, but it gives you an advantage at your audition stage. Girls who go for Campus Princess usually go for gaining some primary experience at pageants and also to advance forward (or take a shortcut) in their state auditions.Basically, suppose you belong from Delhi, and shall be auditioning for the Femina Miss India Delhi title, the regular and basic process for all the states is to register at their website, step into the audition venue at the given date and go through the various rounds, (Introduction, Rampwalk, Cocktail, etc) and then the Q and A round.But if you are a Campus Princess finalist, (you probably need to specify the state from where you shall be auditioning from, during your Campus Princess contest) you can basically walk into the top 5 of the Delhi auditions directly.Yeah, you can straight up go to the Q and A round, and then (if you nail your Q n A) you'll be selected in the top three finalists of Delhi.And during the zone finals, if you perform better than the other two finalists from your state, you shall be wearing a crown and a sash which has the name of your state on it.Congratulations, you are an official Miss India contestant now. You're as closer to winning the Miss India crown as will ever be. Audiences shall watch you on the various episodes of FMI.About the state auditions and zonals, yes. That IS how Miss India contestants are selected! There's no other shortcut. You have to start at the bottom level, and advance up. Don't worry, the Miss India organization trains you for your zonals.
