How do i heal this raw skin on my nose?
I accidentally burnt myself with hot water on wednesday. thursday morning i woke up and had a burn mark on my nose. i have been putting aloe vera and ice on it for the past few days. last night i picked the dead skin and now it is raw and red. i have antibiotic cream and aloe vera to use. should i use one of the two or both? or something different? its very noticable and i would like it to go away very fast. please help. thank you. im bumming out big time.

Dab on a little vaseline or Neosporin. Repeat daily. I bet it will be healed in a few days. If that doesn't work use over the counter "Cortizone 10 Plus". You can get at the drugstore. Good luck.
How do I know when my nose piercing is healed?
Well, I got it done 2 weeks ago, and my piercer said it would heal in 2 weeks or even 2 months. So It was red yesterday but now its skin color and i feel nothing.. well its not numb its just ..normal lol and I just cleaned it soo how will I know? Oh also in the last weeks it was kinda stiff, I just poked it now its the same as the other nostril thing.

Well im at the beach and i got sunburned pretty bad around my nose...had alot of dead skin that i peeled off but i accidently pulled some regular skin off..not dead skin...it didnt bleed just kinda oozed and i guess its scabbed up now but it looks kind of bad...when will this heal?
What is the fastest way to heal raw skin caused by blowing my nose too much?
I had a cold and went skiing. The continuous nose-blowing and the dry air made the skin around my nostrils and in between my nose and upper lip extremely raw and now it is red, chapped, peeling, and painful. I put some Cetaphil on before I went to bed and I didn't see much improvement and it stung. Is there anything I should do besides apply lotion frequently to make it heal faster? It's nasty looking and it barely stretches so when I smile I look like the Octomom.

Of course your respondents have given you great information and advice. I simply wanted to say the facial skin is thinner and generally heals faster, with less scaring than other areas of the body. As Dr. Sie has suggested the silvadine cream is the best for burns and tolerated well. If you have a 2nd degree burn you should have blisters. Try not to burst them if possible. We called them "god's band aid." As they rupture on their own the excess skin should be removed in as clean a manner as possible. Most blister burns can be healed in 10 days, but the face could heal in 7 days. Clean, clean, clean is the priority.
HELP!!! I ripped a healing scab on my NOSE!?
Usually I have dry skin on my nose that looks like it's gonna come off so I peel it and rub lotion, but I accidentally ripped off a SCAB! What do I do?! I'm tan, and when I peeled it off, it's bright pink!! I have a party to go to in 3 hours!!
