When You Buy An Iphone From Tmobile Do You Have To Pay The Plan With The Down Payment

What does $0 down mean? tmobile?

First of all, T-Mobile no longer does contracts so the cost of the phone is not with a two year contract.

Second, since they no longer do contracts, you have to pay for the full cost of the phone (no subsidy). If it is $300 and $0 down, that means that you can (if you are approved) pay for the phone in installments, with no down payment. They will break the cost of the phone into 24 monthly payments. At the time of purchase, you would only have to pay taxes.

Those installments would be in addition to the cost of the plan/service itself.

Optional down payments for iPhone purchase?

I’m planning on buying the iPhone X and I want to know if there’s a way to put a down payment on an order so I can reduce my monthly payments? My current provider is Verizon and I tried to do a mock purchase on an iPhone 8 but at the end of checkout I didn’t see an option for a down payment. Apparently you can do it by phone call but I doubt I’ll be able to do that when preordering.
I haven’t explored other options like the apple store site or using gift cards but I’m curious. If anyone’s had any experience with this please share, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

If I pay for jump! by T-Mobile and I pay off my phone early instead of paying it off via a payment plan do I still have to turn the phone in when upgrading to my next phone?

No longer have jump available if paid off

Why is the T-mobile iPhone so expensive?

The other carriers subsidize the price by making you sign a two year contract. T-Mobile doesn't bind you to service for two years in exchange for paying full retail price for their phones

Where can I rent to own a Iphone 6?

Tmobile has a system where you are able to get your iphone 6 without paying the full amount up-front. What they do is usually ask you for a small down payment first and then around 24 dollars a month for two years until the phone is paid off. Go into your local tmobile store and inquire about this program that they have and you should be able to have your new iphone without paying full price right then and there!

Can I unlock T mobile contract phones?

Yes you can do this, BUT, you will be in a contract with T-Mobile (yes making installment payments on a phone is a contract). But if you intend to stay with TMO and make installment payments on the phone (also while being locked into a phone plan), which means two contracts, yes that 24 months mandatory plan, is a contract too. The phone companies are just not calling them contracts, but more like conditions to allow you to get that spendy phone and pay it off in little chunks instead of one lump sum. Anyway you slice it, the plan you have to have and the installment payments are in fact binding contracts that only someone 18 years old or older can engage in.

And if you default on that contract, the phone will be blacklisted and even if you decide to "switch" carriers, once you miss a couple of payments, TMO will just blacklist the phone's IMEI and poof you have a 0 down phone that becomes a brick. And you get a ding to your credit history as well as a dead beat.

If you truly want the phone to be yours, just pay full price up front and TMO will be happy to unlock the phone for free. I buy all my phone this way, since there are no longer subsidizes phones in the US (for the most part) and I don't want to buy a $600+ phone today, that is going to be much less money in 6 months, for so will be much less for those buying it then, not including holiday and prom sales that will come up between now and then.

How much did you pay for your iPhone 6 Plus all together?

I'm thinking about buying a 16gb iPhone 6 plus from T-Mobile. How much did you pay for your iPhone 6 Plus all together & through what company? Also, can T-Mobile iPhone's be unlocked if I wanted to switch carriers?
