Can I straighten hair with powdered milk?

I think there may be a big misunderstanding on the internet. If you’re trying to straighten hair, there’s no reason to use anything other than a hair straightener. If you’re trying “hair rebonding”, a process that leaves your hair permanently straight, I’d suggest leaving it to the professionals. In professional hair rebonding, there are chemicals that are used to break down the structure of your hair and “rebond” it so it’s straight. Here’s where the misunderstanding comes in. The cream used in professional hair rebonding contains milk. That does not mean using milk will result in straightening your hair.Straightening your hair with milk (or powdered milk) will not only damage your hair, but also probably break your hair straightener.

does coconut milk straighten the hair, how many times should we apply it for straight hair?

I'll be sharing my personal experience .I have used coconut milk cream made by freezing fresh coconut milk mixed with honey.Yes it is very beneficial in treating frizzy damaged hair and makes hair smooth, straight and silky but do not expect to give you permanently straightened hair. Many people assume that using coconut milk will help in getting permanently straightened hair which is not true at all.It just works as a natural conditioner which brings softness to your hair strands and makes it healthier .You can use it once a week by taking it in a spray bottle and cover your hair strands as it becomes really messy to simply apply it on the hair. This technique works for me.Or you can use coconut cream as well. For maximum benefits ,keep it for 3 hours.Even Blossom Kochhar recommends this for healthier strands of hairHope this helps

Does spraying milk on wavy hair help to straighten it?

It really depends on how wavy your hair is. If it's super wavy, the milk might not get it straight. But I've read that it can make wavy hair straight, I've never tried it though. To try, use spray bottle, spray hair completely with milk-- paying equal attention to the roots and ends of your hair. Then comb through hair making sure that the milk is evenly distributed, this allows all the hair to get coated. Allow milk to sit for 20-30 minutes; you want it to penetrate your hair. After that shampoo and condition your hair is normal, but instead just take a couple of extra minutes for these two steps to ensure that you rinse the milk completely out of the hair. You can use a cotton shirt, gently patting on your hair, to soak up some water and prevent frizz, but you really want it to air dry completely. This should work, but if it doesn't, at least it won't be a permanent fail! Hope this helps!

NO. I tried this technique with my waist length hair and it didn't work. It did make my hair crunchy. If your want to prevent heat damage and straighten hair:
Sit in front of a fan and brush your hair until it is dry. It will dry straight without heat.
