Whenever I Wake Up Its Like I Didnt Get Enough Sleep

Is it healthy to wake up early even on nights when I go to sleep late?

The main key is getting enough sleep on a regular patteren. Depending on the age, 6-9 hours sleep at the same hours every day would be the key.I go 2-3 day on a regular basis without sleep. I have gone as many as 5, and began hallucinating. It isn't that I want to not sleep, I have PTSD, and this causes my unusual sleep patterens. I feel I am having less episodes as of late, although some disagree. I try and do get a regular sleep pattern when not having episodes. Some times it goes the other direction. I slept 17 hours straight not long ago. I have been good at not needing an alarm clock, but since the 17 hour sleep, I utilize one.

If you had to wake up early and didn’t get enough sleep, does it seem like it’s not easy to fall asleep the next night?

Only if I had too much caffeine

Why do I feel like I never get enough sleep?

Big answers would be sleep apnea, of course stress/trauma/, and mostly a lack of REM sleep…Certain things that can help IMO would be tryptophan, complete breathing throughout a nights rest(either assisted through positioning, devices, or surgery), the time you choose to sleep(certain times being optimal over others like 10–6 or so; —-What's the Ideal Bed Time?—) ((because of circadian rhythm, evolution, and human needs since the beginning of its existence)), and numerous other things that can affect your quality of sleep like caffeine, drugs/meds, anticipation… among so many other things.[1]Footnotes[1] Street Psychiatry

When we sleep too long, how come it feels like we didn't get enough sleep?

When we sleep, our bodies go through five phases of sleep. Each one takes somewhere between 60–120 minutes. Our bodies circadian rhythm is adjusted so that we need to go through all five phases or one sleep cycle per day. If we get any less sleep or any more sleep, our bodies circadian rhythm gets thrown off. After going through the entire sleep cycle you are ready to get up. If you sleep more, the body will start the sleep cycle all over again. When you wake up, you will be in the middle of the new sleep cycle. When you interrupt your sleep cycle, you are likely to wake up confused and groggy which is why oversleeping can make you feel more tired than sleeping for the amount of time your body needs to keep its circadian clock in rhythm. The best time for waking up is always after a phase of sleep is complete. Since we don’t always know when that will be, it is best to follow our biological clock.Hope this makes sense.I am also going to send you a link to some cool sleep products you may want to check out.Good luck and take care! All Products

If I dont get enough sleep I get sick... Why?? Is this normal? Does this happen to you?

I think it can be normal.
The week I graduated I also had registration for college classes and my grad party that weekend. My grad party went till about midnight and I had to wake up at 4 the next morning to go to work.
I ended up puking around 7:30am at work just from being so tired.

It just means you need sleep.
Maybe try eating a little in the morning at least?
Calm the stomache. Sometimes that helps me or if I drink water when I start to feel sick.

Why do I feel like I haven't gotten enough sleep?

I have always slept about 10 hours each night, but lately when I wake up it feels like I just went to sleep, like I was in a coma and I don't remember anything in between. Usually I gradually wake up and feel rested. It seems like the second I hit the pillow I wake up ten seconds later and it's morning. I have have this feeling before but it's usually been when I did only get about 5 hours of sleep, but it happens now even with ten hours. I have felt like this for the past two weeks.

When I feel that I don't get enough sleep, I really hate life and really cannot function or think normally for the rest of the day and can feel my heart racing. How can I get better/more sleep?

When you don't get enough sleep:1. you miss out on your diurnal hormone rhythm reset during the night. This is triggered by melatonin, the sleep hormone.  This is counterbalanced by cortisol from your adrenal glands. Too much stress during the day can lead to poor sleep the following night.2. you miss the night time pulse of growth hormone (GH) between midnight and 3 AM. This makes you miss the energy you would like for the following day.3. you are not getting the normal amount of serotonin and dopamin because of the lack of the diurnal hormone rhythm where all hormones are rest overnight. This is there reason why you hate life, can't function, think normally (lack of GH) and you feel your heart racing (disbalance of sympathetic nerve hormones adrenalin and noradrenaline). Here is how to remedy this: What are the effects of going to bed late every night?

Why do i feel dizzy when i wake up?

Why do i feel dizzy from the time i wake up to the time i go to sleep?

Can not getting enough sleep make you feel sick?
