If you're talking about Favorites on Internet Explorer 7, click the gold star on the left of the toolbar, or press Alt + c on your keyboard to get your Favorites, click the gold star with the green plus sign to add to favorites, and if you want the Menu Bar with File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, and Help to show, right click a gray blank space on the toolbar, and on the popup menu click Menu Bar.

If you only need the Menu Bar with File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, and Help to appear temporarily just press the Alt key on your keyboard. This way your toolbar doesn't take up as much of your screen. If you want it to stay permanently, right click on a gray blank space on the toolbar and click Menu Bar.

Where are my favorites in Firefox?

History is called Bookmarks in Firefox. If you have just installed Firefox, it should have had an option to copy and transfer all your favorites from Internet Explorer. Otherwise, you will need to add them yourself.

WHERE ARE 'MY FAVORITES' LIST?

I DON'T UNDERSTAND !!! I HAD MY FAVORITES JUST YESTERDAY BUT TODAY I DON'T. I DON'T USE INTERNET EXPLORER ANYMORE BECAUSE MY SYSTEM IS TOO OLD AND I CAN'T UPDATE TO NEWER VERSION. I USE MOZILLA FIREFOX BUT ON YAHOO I'M STILL WITHOUT MY FAVORITES AND IT " PISSES ME OFF. I TRIED THE SOLUTION ON MAN PUT DOWN HERE--PUSH ALT AND C AND IT COMES BACK, HE SAID . WRONG!! NOW WHAT?

I seem to have lost my Favorites toolbar?

In my case I had the same trouble when I upgraded from IE8 to Firefox (AT&T). Firefox had features that showed an 'Import' option from my old browser (including an option to import from a file). None of it worked at all. I found the problem to be that Internet Explorer was designed to keep that data secure from other browsers until the owner (user) gave permission by exporting the 'Favorites' to a file.
I then went back to IE8, restarted it and then clicked onto the 'Favorites' button (the one with the Star). From there, a button 'Add to Favorites' had a menu arrow attached to the right side of it. When I clicked to open that menu I saw 'Import-and-Export'. Behind that, I checked-On an 'Export-to-File' option, then checked-On the 'Favorites' option. The file name (bookmark.htm) and the local directory was given and I saved the file.
When you save that file you can then go to the new browser and Import it as a file from the 'Bookmarks' menu. I did this on my desktop & my laptop and it worked on both. By now you have noticed that we are expected to know that 'Bookmark' and 'Favorites' actually mean the same thing these days.
When you go back and restart your older Internet Explorer browser it may ask to be the 'Primary Browser' again, so be prepared to say NO. Another advantage to having access to 'bookmark.htm' is that you can start the file as a page and do some housekeeping to the way it is organized BEFORE you import it into your new browser. Once you import it to your new browser the file should then be deleted. The new browser will then continue a new generation of Bookmarks (Favorites).
I hope this helps, Tom
