Is there a way to BLOCK tracking on my iPhone?

So my mom doesn't trust me anymore and wants to track me everywhere I go- basically ruining my life. Currently she makes me use this app called "Life360" that tracks me whenever I have the app running in the background. I've found a way to fool my mom by going to the location I'm supposed to be at, and turning off my location services- making the little pin stay at that location so it seems like I'm there all along and then I just go off and do whatever. This kinda gets annoying now and is too much work when I don't have a late curfew and my desired location is in the opposite direction. I'm afraid my mom will get smart enough and learn how to use the "track my iPhone" feature for apple devices. Is there a way to change the location manually? My phone is jailbroken if that helps.

How do I know if my parents are tracking my iPhone?

**Ok so I think everyone else answering this question are parents and that’s why you’re not getting the good straight up answer to this.**I’m facing the same problem that my parents are still tracking me and I’m already midway through university. So first off, I can only answer this question for iPhone because I don’t know the deal with the other phones’ trackers. Also, any of this would only work if you already know your Apple ID username and passwordThe most obvious answer is to go to settings > privacy > location services, and turn off the location services. However, this is unsustainable and you’d want to use the tracking for other things too like maps. You can scroll down on that same page and see if there are any apps that your parents could be tracking you from and delete those.Another option (which I use) is to log into your Apple ID online and first check under “devices” to see who is currently signed into your Apple ID. If it isn’t your own phone or your own laptop, delete it. THEN, under “Security”, turn on two-factor authentication. This is magic. You can’t be logging on all the time to see who is on your account so basically what it does is it sends a notification to your phone anytime someone tries to log into your account and check your location. BOOM. you’re welcome

How accurate is Share My Location on iPhone?

It depends. The phone uses three methods to determine your location, depending on what it can access at any time. First, it uses a GPS that triangulates to satellites in the sky to determine your location within a few feet. But you must have a reasonably unobstructed view of the sky. Second, if you are not in airplane mode, and can reach a cell tower, the phone triangulates to available cell phones towers and estimates where you are based on the signal strength of the various towers it can reach. This is the least accurate method, but it covers a lot of ground and can be surprisingly good. Third, and finally, if your phone can pick up on wi-fi signals from local homes and businesses. these have been cataloged to allow Apple to tell about where you are, even if the wi-fi signal is encrypted. (I THINK this still works, but I’m less sure.)Some combination of these can nail your location very accurately most of the time. But sometimes my phone still thinks I’m maybe a mile from where I am, usually if I’m in a building and my wi-fi is turned off.

Is there a way I can make it for my mom can't track me from my phone?

I have a iPhone 5c and this morning i woke up with a text saying this device is now tracking you with my moms number. I went and asked her and was like yep now I know where you go. I just think it invades my personal space, she should trust me I'm 16 and I tell her every where I go. But is there anyway I can deactivate it for she can't track me no more?

My Dad is tracking my iphone using GPS! HELP!?

I feel like all my freedoms and privileges are being stepped on here. I've already gotten in trouble once for being at the wrong place and lying and it seems stupid that this has to happen. Is there any way AT ALL to turn off GPS in your phone or break it or SOMETHING to help me out here. I find it just plain creepy they can find where I am and I have a feeling they check my location on my phone to match the house I say I'm gunna be at. Im worried, it's creepy, HELP!

Do iPhones have inbuilt trackers?

Short answer: Yes, iPhones have several means of tracking built in – all of which are optional, and none of which are at all unique to iPhones.Longer answer:The location of any cellular phone that's powered on and showing a carrier and signal can be narrowed down to a general area simply by seeing what cellular tower it's talking to.The location of any cellular phone that's powered on and has signal can be triangulated by measuring the strength of the signal between it and two or more cellular towers, and doing a bit of math. The location of almost any smartphone that's powered on and has its GPS antenna active can be determined to within a few meters, at least when outdoors. The location of almost any smartphone that's powered on and has its WiFi antenna active can be determined to within a few meters, when it's within range of recognized WiFi networks. All of these statements are true of iPhones, and of pretty much any other smartphone anyone would seriously consider carrying around... but each of these technologies is something you can switch off, either individually or all at once by switching the phone into "airplane mode."So... you can choose whether you want to be tracked, and how.  It's entirely up to you.

GPS: Can you track in real-time the location of multiple iPhone/Android devices on a map? Any APIs for this?

Consider giving GrayDrop Manager www.graydrop.com a shot, you can track up to 300 devices on Google Maps along with real time analytics on device movements. Not only that, they also seem to have figured out a nifty way of tracking physical jerks to devices. Very smart software.
