What time is it where you are now?

11:15 AM

STOP! What time is it where you are RIGHT NOW?

18:28 and 12 seconds, no, dammit, 18:28 and 22 seconds, no, dammit. Hang on a minute, gonna leap ahead a minute and wait for it>>>>.. 18:30 and no seconds......wait....wait....dammit, missed it again. It's 18:32 and.... Oh, fook it, it's Tuesday, OK?

What time is right now , & where are you ??

Same time, I am from CALIFORNIA. I have never heard of that town/city? Where is it at?

What is the difference between "Do you have time" and "Do you have the time?"

This is a subtle distinction and good on you for picking up on it!“Do you have time?”is a euphemism for “Are you available now? Will you do something I am preparing to ask you to do?”In the context of a senior worker asking a subordinate, it’s a fairly benign, polite way to ask for their help (their labor to handle the request[s]).“Do you have the time?”means “What time is it?” The questioner presumes you have a timepiece or phone with the correct time of day.

Which is correct, "What time can I come?" or "What time should I come?"?

Hmm…I see several issues here. One, a strict grammarian would not say “What time ‘can’ I come?” because ‘can’ indicates ability not permission, so the proper sentence should be “What time may I come over?” Second, there are other options besides these two, such as “When would you like me to be there?” or “When do you want me there?” The correct one depends mainly on the circumstances. Is this an open house, job interview, wedding rehearsal, or something else? The corrected first sentence [What time may I come?] indicates you are requesting permission to visit someone or some event where the time or offer has not been expressly given. Perhaps this is someone in the hospital for emergency surgery and you do not want to visit them unless you are sure they are receiving visitors. The second sentence [What time should I come?] sounds more like a response to a job interview where again, a definite time has not been given. “When would you like me to be there?” is more of the response I would use for an open house or reception where again no written time has been issued. Ditto for an open request: “I need some help cleaning up after the party.”

What does "you know what time it is" mean?

April 1 is the world day of protest spread the word.. If one man read this and continued the chain we could have millions to stand up for us all.. No matter what your nation is we stand strong we stand together. For one Humanity. Take your differences and throw them away we are played against eachother when in reality we are all the same, we all laugh, we all love, we all live, We need to be united, For if one man stands up for us all we can win this thing. Stop the death. Stop the wars. Be free. Be Strong. We live in a time where the very foundation of good over evil is non existent. I am just a soldier, just an american, just one man who cares and has stopped sitting back and letting these events unfold. We are one.

Across this very world we live in man woman and child are pitted against eachother and played to hate one another.. The system has programmed them to ignore the reality of life that they remained distracted with there day to day life with this economic disaster which from the beginning was disigned to fail so that you'll be distracted, So they can take your rights away, take your job away, take your home away, take your kids away. They will not stop until they have complete control over every human being on this planet. They are ruthless they are genius. They will FAIL... I have answered that call of duty as my forefathers have 300 years ago. To perserve that image of love peace and prosperiety. We are responsible for the future, what ever the outcome. Awake to truth educate others unite as one. I will not allow the ignorance of thousands to kill the millions. Many of you reading this do not yet understand the events about to come, but for many of you like me we are educated and know what is going on. So this is a call to all of you. Don't just sit there and watch like the thousands of people before us as history repeats itself. Stand up against them. WE WILL BEAT THEM.

Which is correct, "what time do you get off work" or "what time do you get out of work"?

Which is correct, "what time do you get off work" or "what time do you get out of work"?Both are correct, the first more informal, casual, the second means slightly different, the first meaning more when do you finish work, the second when do you physically get out of the place you work, so you may finish work at 5, but by the time you have gathered your belongings and left the building it may be 5:15, especially if you work in a large sprawling plant or at the top of a tall tower block.
